It happens. Kuroda throws backwards to a pot of the better hitters in the game, so he really needs the breaking pitches to succeed. Without them, he can't put hitters away either. I knew once Kuroda couldn't put away career scrub Ian Stewart after a ten pitch AB that we'd have a rough night. Couple that with CJ Wilson, who we always seem to struggle against and we didn't have much of a chance.

Peavy has silently been one of your better pitchers

DeAndre Daniels heads to the draft. Boatright stays. This is an INCREDIBLY stupid move for Daniels. He was going to be heading into a senior season as probably THE scoring option for the defending champs with an experience PG feeding him. Instead, he jumps into the deepest draft in a decade, where he'll get a non guaranteed contract as a second rounder. I wish him all the luck in the world, but you don't come out early unless you're guaranteed a 1st round selection

Kuroda cannot control the breaking ball today.

Bogaerts has a 10 game hit streak. But, he's been picket fencing it. Usually, guys who are on hitting streaks, they hit .380 or .400 during the span. Bogaerts, in his last 9 games, had 10 hits, his only 2 hit game came last night. Reminds me of my college days. I had a 15 game hit streak yet was hitting .260 during it. Kept going 1 for 4 with a few 1 for 3's in there

I have two of them. That is an incredibly difficult question with an incredibly long answer, but I can be long winded. Expect seeing the woman you love transform into the most amazing creature on earth. Expect seeing her belly grow with your child, a part of you inside there. Expect to go through nights where she thinks the baby is coming, and it isn't. Expect that when it does come, that it will be the most amazing and terrifying experience you could ever imagine. Expect seeing the woman you love in excruciating pain. Expect your child to come out looking like an alien, but loving them more than your life itself. Expect nights with absolutely no sleep, like none, zero, no minutes, hours or seconds. Expect diapers filled with strange goo for the first few weeks and wondering how an earthling could actually expel such nasty stuff. Expect to see your kiddo go from a lump of baby to a person in a short period of time. Expect to see some of your flaws in them, and see how beautiful they can be from a parent's eyes. Expect your family to be over a LOT more than before and also expect to go from wanting privacy from them to wanting them around every minute. Expect fights with your wife and expect a significant work life balance issue early on. That's about it for now.
