  1. And grown men serenade each other with it at Red Sox games.
  2. Francona was a master at penciling in Ortiz and Manny in the lineup every night at 3/4 or 4/3. that was the secret to his success.
  3. Yeah, his signing did dominate the news cycle in Boston for 5 minutes. Very reflective of his popularity and fan appeal.
  4. To generate box office among the Doughnut People demographic? I doubt it.
  5. It was a huge mistake letting Beltre walk. He has been durable and consistently excellent. His final destination is going to be the Hall of Fame.
  6. The Mets retain Cespedes with a one year opt out
  7. He can sweat 15 lbs on a hot day.
  8. I don't think anyone can make sense of his firing. Maybe if the team has another poor season they will fir the grounds crew.
  9. I hope not, but I have little confidence in Farrell and his coaches.
  10. The first telecast will be February 29th
  11. If Farrell doesn't bring this team in with at least a .500 record, I will protest outside of Fenway Park every day with a bullhorn demanding that Farrell be discharged.
  12. Hanley is reportedly down to 234 lbs. How heavy was he last year if he has lost a significant amount of weight?
  13. But what about the projections with a margin of error of plus or minus 6 games?
  14. Other than the Yankee fan posters?
  15. Barnes' performance was underwhelming in 2015 -- very disappointing.
  16. They are purely entertainment, for shits and giggles.
  17. I'd give him a rake and let him help the grounds crew. He missed his window. Plus, he is not good.
  18. A much needed lefty arm for the Mets bullpen.
  19. Upton, Miggy, Kinsler, VMart and JD Martinez. Not a bad batting order.
  20. In 2013, Victorino played RF and he was the better OFer than Ellsbury. Victorino didn't have a Dewey quality arm, but he does have a strong arm.
  21. Shaun Marcum announced his retirement. Arm problems derailed what looked to be a very promising career.
  22. Why do they look at them? Shits and giggles, curiosity, because they are there, or just for purposes of conversation. A lot of them probably also do the crossword puzzle.
  23. The better arm should be in RF in Fenway. Bradley's arm is a weapon in RF. Betts arm in RF is just barely adequate.
  24. If he returns to his career norms of putting up 200 innings and a 4.25 ERA, he will not have to make excuses.
  25. Let us know if you spot him at the buffet.
