    Just his father.

It is good to see that the FO did such a thorough background check on this kid. Let's hope that they can trade him and get a Third baseman.
  3. a700hitter
I they had listened to me, he would have been released after the injury to his knee. We can't waste time waiting for him to play below replacement level for Star $.

J.D Drew and ... Fred Lynn?
  5. a700hitter
    Really good nostalgia.
  6. a700hitter
That's not an impressive success ratio.
  7. a700hitter
    I blame SoxFan Forsyth

Sometimes there is a limited amount of fresh shrimp if you get there early, but usually it is crappy banquet food like Trey Ball. I'd rather have my $2,000 and order from a restaurant menu. And Benintendi was not worth finishing last. The Yankees didn't have to finish last to get Judge.

Or ask Livan Hernandez who earned $50 million during his career.
  10. a700hitter
    LOL! touche

Ron Darling (a Red Sox fan from childhood) made an interesting statement toward the end of the show. He said that never has there been a Triple crown winner whose statistics underestimated his importance to his team.
  12. a700hitter
I will still bash the FO. They are always fair game.
  13. a700hitter
LOL!! It is very hard to describe what 1967 meant to Red Sox fans, but you will get a pretty good idea from the documentary.
  14. a700hitter
There's no crying in baseball, but DD can live it down by winning a Championship-- and we will still bring it up. LOL!!
  15. a700hitter
It's like trying to explain the feeling you have when your child is born. You can't relate to it until you have lived it. Sorry kid, but you missed out.
  16. a700hitter
It's like getting comped for a free casino buffet after losing $2,000. That's how good that I feel about the consolation prize.
  17. a700hitter
Well DD was brutally wrong on that one.
  18. a700hitter
That is so cool that you were at Opening Day 1967
  19. a700hitter
You are in the weak-ass Division.
  20. a700hitter
And that's why it is not worth stinking and coming in last place.
  21. a700hitter
Winning the Division one year and leading the Division the next year can be very concerning to some people.
  22. a700hitter
DD didn't sell high on Shaw. He traded him as his trajectory was still on the upswing.
  23. a700hitter
    So it was Theo's fault?
  24. a700hitter
But he was inept to prevent the cliff in 2014 and 1015.
  25. a700hitter
One of our hottest hitters is getting a rest, even though he will get 4 days off after tomorrow.
