  1. We can't sit our top HR guy. He has been having a lousy season and he is still our top HR guy. He has to play everyday.
  2. That is a very interesting stat.
  3. What do I do with the extra hour?
  4. LOL!! I never want to quit. I just enjoy the addiction. Too bad for my wife.
  5. He's going to the pen. Let's hope Reed is good tonight. Fister was dominating. I would have let him go 1 more inning because he was masterful
  6. Pedroia is Johnny on the spot. I would send Fister out for one more inning and the hand it to Kimbrel.
  7. Ump starting to squeeze the one a bit.
  8. Reed and Kimbrel in the pen tonight. I guess that he will try to get one more inning from Fister.
  9. It is nice to have guys that hit HRs. That is how offenses roll today. OBP ..screw that. Two solo shots and a 2 run bomb.
  10. It will be nice to have him back.
  11. Then you must be a bonehead.
  12. When is Bradley going to be activated?
  13. Imagine how much fun he will be to watch when he stops making rookie bonehead plays.
  14. I like having Pedroa back for his bat and glove.
  15. Mookie is not a big DP guy.
  16. I guess MVP is on the DL throwing on flat ground with David Price.
  17. I would not have sent him. Betts has been K'ing a lot lately.
  18. Luzinski fell into the very good category. For my money, in his prime he was a better hitter than Schmidt. Also, if you found pictures of Luzinski and compared it to Butterball Pablo, Luzinski would probably look like Charles Atlas.
  19. I think the run sign was given from the bench with the 3-2 count. So, I don't attribute fault to him on that. If you are going to counter that by saying that I don't know if farrell sent him, then he went on his own and he should only have gone if he got a good enough jump that he was sure to make it and not risk a second out on the bases. As for Farrell's coaching of the running game, he has a history of letting his players run wild and stupid. Omar Vizquel called him out on it when he was playing for Toronto under Farrell.
  20. Apparently, Jim has dined with CC as he is familiar with his diet. Guys from Rice's day did not play fat. If you did, you heard about it, and you had better be really good to stay on the field.
  21. If not a hit and run, it was probably that Farrell decided to move the runner on 3-2. I am trying to give the kid an excuse. If he did it on his own, he owns it and he got a lousy jump and gave away a second out on the bases. I prefer to think that Farrell sent him.
  22. He is making rookie mistakes which are to be expected, but the coaching staff is supposed to coach those out of the kid so they don't recur. Instead, Farrell thinks the kid is learning from the mistakes without coaching input as he says "this game is the greatest teacher." He continues to run the bases like a rookie and throw the balls all over the place from the OF.
  23. That was the end of Lee as a consistently good pitcher. I think he had one more good season years later in Montreal.
  24. The caught stealing looked very much like a botched hit and run.
  25. lol!!
