There just is no roster room for him. And if we keep him, what would be the long range plan? Next season, will be thesame issue unless he gets to play and prove that he can catch at the MLB level. I think his leaving is inevitable.

I would be surprised if we got anything of value for Swihart.

There were none after they lowered the mound in 1969, 70 or 71 either.

There were no overshifts that I can remember where players were playing out of position. If it was done, it was extremely rare. The shifting occurred mainly in the OF.

There were no shifts in 1968.

I though he was through 7 or 8 years ago.

Radio announcers were saying that Nunez needs a break.

He is still swinging through mediocre fastballs. Everyone is rooting for the kid, but his presence in the lineup is becoming unsustainable.
  11. a700hitter
It is a close call, but Nunez will hit the bench when Pedroia returns. Devers will continue to be a problem.

It would be a blast. When is the last time that you visited NY?
  13. a700hitter
He is doing worse than he did in 2014. He needs a trip to AAA.
  14. a700hitter
Great news! And We need his glove more than his bat.

Mesoraca has played quite well for the Mets thus far -- a nice upgrade. He hit a 2 run HR in the 9th to tie the game tonight.

    The Red Sox win!

The announcers are saying that the weather will be better tomorrow.

3 HRs and only 4 runs. Lately, it seems like we only score if we hit HRs. that's what happens when you have a lot of dead spots in the lineup --can't string together a rally.

    Thank you, Mookie!!!

Bradley is lost. He needs to retool that swing. He swings under everything. He's useless right now. They have to do something to help this kid.
  21. a700hitter
Leon has been showing some life with the bat in his last 2 games.
  22. a700hitter
He is completely lost. He couldn't hit off a tee right now.
  23. a700hitter
    Maybe in the bullpen.

If the metrics were bad for those guys, it would be good reason to distrust the metrics. Those guys were great fielders.
