  1. I am sitting next to a K.C. Fan who thought they were dead with Gordon coming up. I told him that it might be blind squirrel time again for Gordon like in Game 1 is 2015 World Series when he got Familia’s 97 mph sinker that didn’t sink.
  2. Moreland slapped at that ball. He could have waited back and let it settle in his glove. The runner wasn’t close.
  3. Don’t know if it was picked up on camera, but Bradley broke the wrong way on that ball. I haven’t ever seen him make that kind of bad read. Avoided disaster on the play at 3B. When he released the ball, I thought it was a tied game.
  4. From where I was sitting, JD’s throw looked good. Did it short hop Vasquez and did it beat Perez?
  5. Two easy innings for Chris Sale to start the game.
  6. I will post the Star Wars characters later for you Youk.
  7. Sale vs Junis Hopefully, Chris Sale, Star Wars Night and my at the game mojo will overcome this break with protocol.
  8. Game thread, compadre. I have at the game mojo to help you.
  9. I have said it many times before. We need Pedroia's glove back in the field.
  10. Agreed. Very lost.
  11. I have to stop picking Red Sox pitchers in my FanDuel entries.
  12. Running the bases in cleats is harder on the legs than other types of running. If you are a marathon runner and try putting on cleats to run bases, you will cramp or strain something. Early on in seasons, I have observed that guys get hurt when they get a short red hot steak and find themselves on the bases 3 or more times a game for 3 or 4 games in a row after having been cold or slumping. They cramp up, pull something or experience leg fatigue. Their legs are not fully game ready. Betts went out tonight after being on base 5 of the last 6 ABs, including 3 doubles and 3 runs scored. Holt was hotter than he has been in 3 years. Before he cramped up, he had gone 7 for 8 and 3 doubles. Wilson Ramos raised his batting average from .246 to .308 in the last 4 games and he left tonight's game with leg fatigue. I guess they got too hot too suddenly early in the season for their own good. LOL!
  13. At least he doesn't do that arrow shoot thing that his mentor Rodney does. That is annoying as heck.
  14. Thanks. It will not work on my laptop or phone.
  15. Is anyone else having trouble with Yahoo sports sites or Yahoo apps?
  16. Pomeranz with the third Porcello.
  17. I think that he had been on base too often the last several games and he blew out a tire.
  18. And striking out 50% of the batters faced is also an exception. That is harder to find than a 9th inning choker. LOL!! Sign him up.
  19. Miller was a poor example, but other excellent set up guys have been known to spit the bit in closing situations. In 29 Save opportunities, he had 4 saves and 25 blown saves. It was not a secret that he didn't like that situation. That is an extreme example, but there are other less extreme examples. Betances is a great set up guy, but not a great closer.
  20. How does the weather look for the game against Rays tonight?
  21. There probably would have been a knee jerk reaction in the game thread. MVP's question wasn't about whether anyone would complain, but rather why would they complain. At least that is how I read it.
  22. There are varying degrees of strains. A popping feeling in the hamstring is not always a tear, but it is usually a very debilitating strain. The way that Holt was moving around after the play and how he was trying to stretch it out, I would think that it is a mild strain. Even mild strains can take a 10 day DL to heal.
