  1. My bank has Zelle which allows me to send money to an email address.
  2. I don't have Venmo. Do you have any other electronic means of payment? If not, we will figure it out.
  3. I think the LeBron situation is unique in that he has an ownership interest in a sport other than the one he plays while still active in his sport. Magic is an owner of the Dodgers, but I don't think he had that ownership interest while he was still an active Laker.
  4. what will the robots do..., vaccinate the fans?
  5. I think you are right about that.
  6. Has an active athlete ever had an ownership interest in a professional sports franchise?
  7. it is still a bucket of spit.
  8. I am hopeful about Sawamura, but he looked bad again today. Darwinzon still needs to learn to throw strikes more consistently. We had him last year, so he was not an addition to last years pig pen. Is Ottavino an improvement over a Workman?
  9. i never said that I enjoyed watching Brice more than Brasier, and I am not singling out Brasier. I was very clear that I would be just as happy to say goodbye to most of the Red Sox bullpen.
  10. If you want to declare victory on Brasier, go ahead. This team has much bigger problems than this turd. They don't have reliable starters to pitch quality innings. They can't field. And their best hitter wears Dodger Blue. I have to take my enjoyment where I can find it, and the thought of not having to watch Brasier pitching in meaningful games makes me smile.
  11. I can be puzzling. I would like to see several members of our bullpen be quarantined away from Fenway permanently. Am I supposed to start a fan club for a guy that might be better than most teams 7th or 8th pen guys?
  12. Brasier has been past his expiration date for 2 years.
  13. Losing the others would also be a plus, but hey, we will not get that lucky.
  14. Losing Brasier is a plus.
  15. I didn't need to see any starts to criticize. The guy hasn't had a full season since 2015. Maybe Bloom will get lucky with him, but it will not be because the crack medical staff thoroughly examined him and confidently pronounced him healthy and vouched for his durability. It will be pure luck if he returns to his 2015 form -- and a very long shot bet.
  16. Wow! RIP He was a great fighter.
  17. People were turning cartwheels over getting Marte and then they were wringing their hands when he got flipped for Coco Crisp.
  18. ST stats don't matter. I never said that. What matters is getting in your work to build arm strength to get ready for the season. The rotation was not ready to come out of the gate in 2019, and their April stats reflected it.
  19. Pivetta did not look bad today.
  20. Up close, Downs is unremarkable. He might be a major leaguer, but not a big time performer. Duran has big time pop and speed. He may have problems being consistent, because he looks to me like he tries to pull everything. Casas has great bat speed. He could develop into an elite hitter. I like Arrauz’s bat, good life in his bat. I have heard good things about Yorke’s bat from people who have seen him play at tournaments etc. Conner Wong has big power. I look forward to seeing him develop. What we don’t have in the pipe line is a lot of good arms.
  21. One more team would make 10 — a good size for a fun competitive league without having to research obscure minor league call ups to fill out your lineup card.
