Exactly, yourself. I was talking about people with familes to support. When you get to that age, you start to realize different things. I dont blame you though, I once was like you too. It's just another phase that one has to pass during the maturation process.
You spent money to go see a rebuilding club. If you pay money to go see the Royals, and then come back and complain about how bad the game was and how the team just isn't very good, do you really expect anyone to sympathize with you? You buy a ticket to go see a rebuilding club, you should know what to expect. Therefore, you should not be allowed to boo. You boo a club that should be playing better, you do not boo a club that everyone knows is rebuilding.
Not every discussion with a Yankee fan has to turn into a pissing match over who's more "loyal". You can stick to a baseball discussion without launching into a "you're not a good fan spiel". BTW I pay money to go watch and root for the UNIFORM. I have my favorite players, but I dont have enough of a man-crush to pay to watch a so called favorite athele. I dont wanna be the one to tell you that Santa Claus isn't real, but in this day and age, you probably shouldn't get too attached to individual players.
