  1. There are no Devil Ray fans, only people whom Chuck Norris have not killed yet.
  2. Out of all the players from UNC, he picked Haywood and JR Reid?
  3. The Mets should call their network PWU as in Please Watch Us
  4. The O's have a better rotation. D-Rays will never be better till they AT LEAST get their pitching up somewhat
  5. wow someone had alittle too much mocha this morning
  6. :dunno: I guess you're right.
  7. I hated that signing from day one. We used to beat this kid around when he was an Indian, no way did I want him on this team when we coulda had Jon Lieber at half the price.
  8. and Clement, Beckett, and Schilling are?
  9. Whos listing JR Reid?
  10. Personally I wasn't shocked they didnt call it. The guy has pushed off on Starks countless times. he got away with travelling, hand checks, blocks, all sorts of things. He was a smarky little bastard too, was very well known to cozy up to the refs after the game. Pathetic. I'm glad Abe Polian turned him into nothing more than a Circus act to close out his career. Fitting way to end it, cuz that's all he's been to me. A Circus act. you know what, I take back what I said earlier. Screw MJ, I forgot how much help that pompous, sneaky turd got from the refs. This is what happens when you try to block out painful memories.
  11. As a tortured Knick fan and from what I've read about Wilt's days. I'll say this, Jordan ALWAYS ALWAYS got help from the refs (as do most superstars, but he was ridiculous). From what I heard about Wilt, they made rules to stop him, so I can't imagine the refs giving him too many calls.
  12. I dont see whats wrong with wishing some of the best hitters in the Majors were on your team. And quite honestly, I dont think the FO is that worried about Manny going to the Yanks. They did put him on waivers a couple of years ago.
  13. this thread is pure comedy btw.
  14. Exactly Grant's been hurt. it doesnt matter the skillset, the man has to be able to have the skills AND the endurance to play in the NBA. Skillset isnt any good if the guys alwasy injured or if his head aint on right. Unfortunately for Grant, he hasn't had a good career. Carlos Boozer's career has been down the tank ever since his 2 decent years in Cleveland. Duhon is a midlevel talent at best, his numbers are mediocore plus he's only bee in the league TWO years. Same for Deng. Battier's stats don't overwhelm anyone. And Dunleavy has been a major disapointment since he came into the league. yes Duke produces talent, just not superstar or even above average talent. no that was actually a compliment. that COach K could turn players who obviously lack superstar skills on the NBA level and yet consistently have them place top 5 every year. I'm not a fan of either UNC or Duke, so I'm being objective here. If anything, I am jealous since my team is St. Johns
  15. I thought this was a thread about the Heights reunion. Maybe this time they can actually tell me how to talk to an angel
  16. Outside of Elton Brand and Corey Maggete, I can't think of any good NBA players from Duke. They might have the better college players, but UNC definetely has more NBA talent. That really has a lot more to do with coaching than anything else.
  17. yeah it was terrible what happened to him after the surgery. The guy was an amazing all around talent until the surgery. Some guys do make a full recovery like J Kidd, though he hasn't been the same since it. He's missed I think somehting like 20 game s ayear since he had it.
  18. I cant stand MJ. That tells u how much I hate Kobe =P
  19. My only problem with this is that the Sperms are notorious for taking it easy in the regular season. If that's true, that would bode very well for matching up on Duncan. the one PF who always gave him fits was Sheed because of his range. My personal feeling is that Amare should be working on his 15-20 footer rather than a 3 since that will take him even further away from the basket. I would still be a bit wary about Amare once he comes back. Microfracture surgery has limited many players, especially one who relies on his athleticism as much as Amare. The guy's a shining star, but you just have to hope this doesn't do to him what it did to McDeyss.
  20. I didnt even know we were discussing Russell. I thought this was simply a thread between Kobe and MJ.
  21. you've gotta be kidding me. Arent there any Pats fans here? It's unnatural for me to defend Tom Brady, so can some of you please tell this guy he is crazy?
  22. I wish you ahd a Chinese pitcher to brush him back next time, it's the only way I would approve of dusting Hideki.
  23. i'd say the guy who called us fags (bdoc) is probably a good bet
  24. You think Manning is a better QB????
