  1. Sojo is gone?
  2. Go Astros!
  3. Talks with Leo Mazzone have reportedly 'broken down;' the search for a new pitching coach continues...
  4. Good for him. Now I must wonder who else will be sitting next to Joe (Torre) next year, besides the new pitching coach.
  5. That's the reaction I was expecting from most of you. Thank you everybody else.
  6. Nice DP. Come on Astros...you just need one more now!
  7. I wasn't saying he's going to be fired, I was commenting on his ejection from the game.
  8. Bye Jim...
  9. Bye Tony...
  10. ...still in Steinbrenner mode?
  11. The person dislikes a team...so they're a psycho? Uh, yeah...you're an idiot. Sorry. Your reasons for disliking all the teams in your signature could be described as "odd" by some as well; so, remember what they say about glass houses and stones.
  12. Another horrible call! Come on umps, this is getting ridiculous!
  13. Ouch, that looked painful.
  14. And the award for most random comment goes to...
  15. Next month, I beleive, with all the other awards.
  16. I think most Yankee fans would say...it couldn't happen soon enough!
  17. Matsui is not leaving New York. If he did, though, he wouldn't go to Boston.
  18. Spoken like a true non - New Yorker... If people want to read about inflation in Southern Chile, they read the Times. If they want to read about the Yankees, they turn to the Post or Daily News.
  19. If you think the NY Times represents what most Yankee fans, or New Yorkers, think...well...you're probably not the sharpest tool.
  20. That, folks, is what Hindus like to call Karma.
  21. Hopefully, Sojo will find his way off the Yankee bench by next spring too.
  22. This really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone...
  23. Never thought I'd say this, but....Go Sox!
  24. "No hints of any 20 game winners?" Here's a big hint: http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_116615.jpg Randy Johnson struggled mightily this year and still won 17 games; he, almost certainly, is going to have a better season next year. 20 is not that big a stretch given what he did this last month, when he started acting like Randy Johnson.
  25. Absolutely...in April, May, June, July, August, and September. Without performance in those months, there are no playoffs.
