Chacon has had a few shaky starts in a row...it'll be interesting to see if he can get back on track today. On a separate note, I expect to see something big happen today. Both A Rod and the Captain were hit last night, there were even rumors (at this point) of A Rod breaking something (forearm, I believe.) Chacon seems like the kind of pitcher who would not be afraid to respond to that kind of thing.

I think last night we learned more about Joe Torre than we did our bullpen. Him siting there as an exhausted Scott Proctor loaded the bases, after an otherwise brilliant relief performance, is an image Yankee fans should not ignore. This season his management of the bullpen has been questionable, at best.

He certainly is making the case though. September is when these awards are won and Cano has been huge this month. (.455 BA in September, before tonight) Flaherty picks up his pitcher! HR!

Exactly! The ump felt his little (obviously) ego being challenged so he threw a hissy fit. Disgusting. Umpires are like judges...a damn monopoly of power. I hope this team is as angry as I am.
