  1. Maybe you two can get a group discount. :dunno:
  2. Hasn't been that long since we won the AL East... How are you guys doing in that area?
  3. You have issues. I'd advise seeing a therapist.
  4. Good for him. He deserved it.
  5. From Yankees.com:
  6. Actually, by most accounts, George had little to do with this deal; it was mostly Cashman and Matsui's agent.
  7. Very true.
  8. I really enjoyed this article. Link
  9. According to ESPN, the Yankees have offered Hideki Matsui a 4 year deal worth $50 million.
  10. 5 years is a long time?
  11. Speaking of good times... http://www.onlinesports.com/images/ssm-dentphs008001.jpg http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2003/10/17/XcrRBUOj.jpg
  12. Good choice. One of the few award decisions I'm agreeing with so far.
  13. First Street wins ROY over Cano, now Colon wins Cy Young over Rivera...where is this East Coast bias that Chitown (whom we all miss, very much) spent most of his posts complaining about!?:dunno:
  14. Randy Johnson: 4 CG, 225.2 IP, 207 Hits, 3.79ERA, 32HR, 47BB, 211 SO, WHIP 1.13, .298 OBA Bartolo Colon: 2 CG, 222.2 IP, 215 Hits, 3.48 ERA, 26 HR, 43 BB, 157 SO, WHIP 1.16, .291 OBA Now, how is one of those guys the "Big Bust" and the other Cy Young? :dunno:
  15. :thumbdown Boo...
  16. Street deserved it; the voters picked the right guy. Cano finishing second is good...considering the Yankees "have no farm system."
  17. Doesn't Sojo want to manage a minor league team? I don't see the Yankees putting him in charge of Columbus though, not yet.
  18. Gator's back!!
  19. Don't bring that up.
  20. Ryan is most likely going to end up with the Yankees. He, from what I hear, is close to Ron Guidry...who is, almost certainly, going to be the pitching coach in 2006. I see this most likely turning into a bidding war and...when have the Sox ever won a bidding war with the Yankees?
  21. The one thing I am always asking for is a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble; I'm always looking for an excuse to spend a few hours there on a Saturday or Sunday. (If I must be more specific, I'm always looking for Yankee or American History books.) My favorite fast food place...definitely Wendys. And, like everyone else, I want to say thanks to SFOC for this.
  22. Wow, Yankees aren't wasting any time after securing Cashman for a few more years. Tony Pena has been named the new Yankees first base coach. Link
  23. Enjoy Kansas City...or whatever baseball Hell you're banished to...
  24. Uh, are we talking about two different things? What I meant was, when he got fired this year from the managerial job in Baltimore... I predicted he'd end up with the Yankees.
  25. When he got fired, I predicted he'd end up with the Yankees in one form or another.
