  1. A Rod, when the count is 3 - 0...you have the green light to swing; just wanted to remind you. :dunno:
  2. 3 Ks through 2 for the Big Unit
  3. That was nice; they showed the presentation of the $1 million check to the Salvation Army on YES.
  4. And there was much rejoicing in the Evil Empire...
  5. About two weeks now....
  6. It's confirmed, Small will be starting on Friday; they're still not sure who will go on Saturday.
  7. Yahoo has a ridiculous amount of stats. Anything you can think of, they have...
  8. http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2005/06/04/T9yeJ7wx.jpg Chien-Ming Wang has been activated off of the DL. I wonder how this will effect the rotation (hopefully, bye bye Leiter) or if it even will; Joe and Mel will probably put him in the bullpen for long releif, like they did with Small. Oh well, it's always nice to get a piece of good news like this.
  9. Don't worry about us, you guys have to face the all powerful Blue Jays next week...
  10. If he does it, I will officially join the "Fire Joe" club. He'd most likely sit down Small (who just pitched a complete game shutout of a play off contender) for Leiter (who didn't last an inning against the same team.)
  11. Joe says he wants to start Leiter...
  12. Why are you replying to someone you just said doesn't exist (as far as your concerned?)
  13. That pretty much sums up how I feel about this.
  14. You'll notice that a Red Sox fan started this by linking to the YES forums... Why aren't you blasting him for posting something that wasn't 'constructive?'
  15. I wouldn't know because A Rod doesn't release a PR every time he does something nice or contributes to charity. (Not saying Schilling does, just that A Rod doesn't.)
  16. How do you know that A Rod hasn't given money? Are you his accountant? Didn't think so... You know what they say about people who assume...
  17. Fenway is great, definitely one of the best parks in all of sports; I've been to a few games there and have always had a great time.
  18. The last game was a blessing...a few hours of Yankee baseball without Micheal Kay.
  19. Honestly (and I never thought I'd say this, but I have to) I am worried whenever we play the D Rays. We always go into series with them with alot of momentum and looking like we've finally put it all together and then just fall apart. I don't know if they're just the team we struggle against (every team has one) or Lou just works these guys extra hard to beat the Yankees... Oh well, I'd love to sweep...but I won't hold my breath. (I know, not very optimistic... )
  20. Also, when it takes a grand slam just to tie the game...it tends to fit the definition of 'blow out,' at least in my opinion.
  21. Actually, for those who care, Wright will not be missing any starts.
  22. Doesn't really matter how many we stranded, that's bound to happen with any team that gets a lot of people on base; only thing that's important is we got 4 more across the plate than the A's did.
  23. Great catch by A Rod! Game over; thaaaaa Yankees win!
  24. Bad call by first base ump!
