Actually, he's been in quite a slump since he started batting second. Since August 24 (when he was moved into the two hole): 10 - 45 (.222) Since August 29: 2 - 24 (.083) September (granted, it's only 3 games): 1 - 11 (.091) Bernie Williams or Matt Lawton should be in that spot.
