  1. That was bull, plain and simple. The chubby little ump missed Strike 3, not once...but twice.
  2. Unit Has Been Ejected!
  3. Heh...guess the Yankees decided to stay in Tampa...
  4. The Unit has no location tonight.
  5. Yeah...I figured Randy Johnson was too good to be true as of late.
  6. The Big Unit will probably want some revenge for that last start in Toronto...or at least, I hope so. He seems to do better when angry...
  7. Edit: Actually, never mind. You know what would not surprise me? If someone from the Guardians won it, I mean if they stay on top of the wild card and with all that they've done this season.
  8. I like YES, it's usually on my TV when nothing else is on. I'm addicted to the Road Trip show, some of the Yankeeographies I really enjoy, and I like "Tales of Triumph" (though they rarely show those.) The only Center Stage episode I really liked was the Yogi Berra one. And, of course, I always enjoy watching whatever Yankees Classic they're playing.
  9. Great way to end the season series against the D Rays...
  10. I guess not. Joe Torre puts Wang back in despite him blowing a 2 run lead...twice... :thumbdown
  11. Joe Torre comes out to argue a call...The Boss must of cut off his Green Tea supply.
  12. Best argument made so far; I totally agree with you. Neither of these guys care about MVP...why do we?
  13. ...that has what to do with the 2005 MVP race?
  14. At some points, indeed alot of points, defense is more important than offense. You can score all you want, but it's not going to help if runs are being given up in the field. A Rod may not be 100% 'clutch' at the plate, but he is 'clutch' in the field...on more than one occasion saving the game with a gold glove play.
  15. Would anyone arguing for Ortiz care to take a look at how he's done in his last 11 games this season playing in the field? Oh...wait... MVP stands for 'Most Valubale Player'...not 'Most Perfect Player.'
  16. The D Rays got 3 runs off of him in 5 last week...and that was his first start off the DL. I doubt he'd do worse his second time on the mound. I would love for him to go out there and be better, but I'm expecting a similar performance to last week. (Which should be more than enough if the bats do half, literally, of what they did last night)
  17. I'd love to say we have some momentum from the past two games...but...we're playing the D Rays. Hopefully Joe doesn't mess with the lineup, the one from last night produced...to say the least.
  18. ...
  19. Enough hostility?
  20. Good thing they judge by 162 games instead of 10. Eh...neither right now is a 'shoo - in;' I think most of us can agree with that. This, like who will be making the post season, will be up in the air until we turn our calendars over to October.
  21. Interesting article, at least to me. Link
  22. Exactly. We're not the Houston Astros, we still have a chance at winning the division. Until the Sox take a big lead or we're mathmetically eliminated, my eyes (along with, most likely, the team) are on nothing short of the division.
  23. My sentiments exactly.
  24. ...at which point you'll wake up?
