    I don't think a regular season record decides who the best team is, unless the teams play the exact same schedule. The Cards had 3 push overs in their own division, and the AL was certainly tougher than the NL last year. Our rotation was better, and our offense was better. I don't care what our record was, or where we finished. BTW 9/10 the best team will win a 7 game series

    It's definatly not talking out of ones ass. And it's far from blind speculation. The guy has used steroids before, and like I said before there will always be speculation because of that. Don't get mad at us because you have a cheater on your team. The last time he put up numbers like this he was on steroids, so how is it out of the question that he's using them again? And, like I have said before it is impossible to add size and strength during the season and a HOF reliever backs me up on that. Giambi has gotten bigger and stronger during the season, and there are only two ways to explain that ... steroids, or HGH. And you know what Arod, maybe instead of telling us to shut up, you leave. I don't know why I have to keep reminding you Yankee fans that this is talkSOX ... not talkfags. If you don't like it ... leave ... this forum wasn't made for you anyway.

    Actually the Cardinals were not the better team. They had 0 pitching last year, and if you need to be reminded we had Petey, and Curt at the top of the rotation.

    How about Big f***ing Ben today. Has a perfect passer rating. Willie Parker, our 3rd string RB, runs for 160+. Defense gets 4 turn overs ... what more could I ask for?

    Let's not go drawing those lines so closely. Bernie is 37, Manny is 33 ... theres a world of different between those ages. I still don't see this power slide that everyone sees Manny having. I understand he's only hit 1 HR is so many weeks, but he's still on pace to hit just about his average number of HRs. His SLG % is down a little but it's far from terrible. I dunno I think this whole thing is being over hyped.

    I think the fact that he had the biggest turn around in the history of baseball is all the evidence I need. Then as soon as people started talking about him using steroids again he had a slump ... then the second they stopped bringing his name up he caught fire again. Look after you do something once people will always be suspicious of you. I'm not just talking about baseball ... it's the same in all aspects of life. Exactly like bobby jr. said fool me once shame on you ...

    No, the longer he can go the better. For him now it's all about feeling comfortable on the mound, and the only way to do that is to pitch as much as possible.
