  1. I never said the Steelers played a good game. I agree that we sputtered on Offense, and got burned on routes over the middle all night, but it wasn't Ben's fault that we lost. Thats the only reason I got bent out of shape. Blame Cowher, blame Ike Taylor, blame anyone but Ben for this loss. If Ben doesn't play in this game we lose atleast 30-0. Please realize that When I said that Ben had a better night than Peyton I ment more consistant. I guess I didn't make that clear but thats why I put his att-cmp. Obviously he didn't throw for as many yards but if you take away Peytons 80 yard bomb they're almost even in yardage. To my knowledge Ben threw only 2 screen passes. 1 to Cedrick Wilson, and 1 to Randle El, both shut down behind the line. Now there may have been quite a few shovel passes, and a lot of rinking and dinking, but he threw a lot more than just screen passes all night. You have to understand that you don't just send a QB out there running and gunning when he's been out for a month.
  2. Well you could make the playoffs at 6-10 this year so don't worry too much. You're lucky to be a lock to get in the playoffs.
  3. exactly.
  4. Theres a HUGE difference between not being able to locate a slider and not being able to locate a fastball. If you can't locate your fastball then you can't pitch in this league. I see the point as far as money is concerned, but do we really need to save money? Why all the sudden is there this huge push to spend less money? I'd rather have a better team than a cheaper team. Maybe sending Arroyo to the bullpen is what he needs, but watching him pitch is just far too frustrating.
  5. ... that has nothing to do with Ben. He doesn't call the plays. If you want to blame anyone blame Cowher for a horrible coaching job all night. 17-26 is a pretty good night considering he sat out a month ... if you wash away his 2nd INT, thrown out of desperation, he had a better night than Peyton did. Let's not go after the wrong people. Saying he was "brutal" proves to me that you either didn't watch a second of this game, or your just a Steelers hater.
  6. So you can't see EVERYTHING!? EVERYTHING about this story is hilarious. Michael Irvin is a true ass clown and hopefully he loses his job. Typical Dallas Convict. This should really help his HOF chances.
  7. I guess I can see where you're coming from but I don't understand why you would trade Clement before Arroyo. First, Arroyo has more value because he's younger, and second, Arroyo has had more chances. I mean how many times do we need to watch this guy make a start where he can't locate his fastball the entire game? Watching Bronson pitch is like having your arm cut off 1 inch at a time. I like the guy, but I'm just sooooooo sick of watching him pitch for this team. If he's with the team next year then I'll deal with it, but I'd rather him be traded.
  8. I just want to make it clear that I'm not bad mouthing Brady ... I'm bad mouthing certain fans(cry babies) and certain analysts. ... I saw your PM on wendesday ... then just completely forgot about it. I'll win next week
  9. OK did I say anywhere in my post that he isn't going to be a HOFer? He could have retired after last season and he'd be a HOFer. I'm just saying that Pats fans along with almost every analyst is giving Brady and the Pats a pass because of injuries. The fact of the matter is that every single team in this league, besides the Colts, is playing through injuries ... yet Pat fans and espn analysts make it seem like the Pats are the only team with injuries.
  10. waaah waaah waah waaah waaah waah waaah waaah waaah waaah waah waah waah! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! *insert crying smilie* Every single team has a ton of injuries, and they're all playing through them. The only team that hasn't been bitten by the injury bug is the Colts and thats why they're undefeated. Try winning with your 2nd and 3rd string QB before you start crying. How come Brady is only the best player in the league when everyone is healthy? Kind of busting your balls here, but in all honesty I'm sick and tired of everyong blowing Brady when he does good and making excuses for him when he does bad.
  11. Does Manny think he'll have any more privacy in New York? If anything he's going to have much less. I wish someone would smack Manny and tell him to stop being such a bitch.
  12. Vlad has run like he has a stick up his ass and has for a while now.
  13. Also forgot about the TD games. I'll go out on a few limbs to try to make up for it Baltimore Carolina Chicago Minnesota Kansas City San Diego San Francico St. Louis Jacksonville Miami Green Bay Seattle New Orleans Monday Nighter Pittsburgh ... If we win this game Ben should without a doubt be MVP ... even if he only throws 1 pass.
  14. The Manny situation is no where near as bad as TO's.
  15. ummm ... HOLY f***ING s***! What a fantastic trade!
  16. He may have had a bad year but he was far from an automatic out.
  17. Well then I think once again we'll see that George is really making the decisions.
  18. I strongly doubt they will. They took a flyer on him last year hoping that he'd be ready to go this year and he clearly wont be. I really like Wade Miller when he's healthy but we just can't wait for that to happen.
  19. The Mets just gave Benson a big pay day didn't they? That would be a great trade for the Mets considering you get rid of that cancer cry baby Benson, and the money you owe him.
  20. I really wanted the Sox to make a run at Pierre considering Damon is so greedy.
  21. Did you miss it when the Steelers proved the Bengals aren't for real? I picked some off the wall games and still came out 11-5 ... I'll take it.
  22. I wasn't wild about this when the rumors started, but I can't say I have a problem with it now. If he pitches a full healthy season this year he'll win the cy young.
  23. Hopefully. He dressed this week and wanted to play so I think he will. If not we're going to lose by 50. Here's the MNF pick I forgot Green Bay
  24. I don't think I would be calling Beckett a great pitcher. I look at his stats and see a pretty good pitcher. He's a young pitcher, but he's had injury problems already. I don't know if I support trading away two young prospects for a salary dump(Lowell) and Beckett who very well could end up just being your average run of the mill pitcher.
