    I have read the thread and your last post didn't say "we should just get matos" it said "we should get Matos is the Guardians are gonna act like this". Maybe you didn't mean it that way, but your statement is definatly spitefull.

    Thats a good point. I'm sure both of them would trade in their retired numbers to give just one of the great stars that never got a chance, because of their race, a chance.

    I just noticed the Blues were on the list. Do you realize they've been to the playoffs 25 straight years? Also the Texans hardly compare to the Cleveland Browns who have basically been sucking since the begining of time. This topic was a good idea ... just with a very poor choice of teams aside from the Hawks.

    Please. Shaq went to the Heat and made them the 2nd best team in the East. Shaq left the Lakers and made them the worst team in the West. Please don't even try to compare the two. Kobe can score, and do all kinda fancy dunks, but the one thing he can't do is make a team better. When Shaq steps on the court, he tries and does, make everyone better. While Kobe just worries about scoring his 81 points so Nike makes him a new shoe.

Kobe isn't an equal oppertunity throat puncher. Whoever is defending Kobe, go right ahead, but he's going to be remember for being a selfish moron who ruined what could have been one of the best dynastys ever. He'll be the guy remember for giving up championships so he could score more points, and make a bigger name for himself. I can't believe this douche bag was going to go to Duke.

    ... ya and I'm sure they'd run home and cry themselves to sleep. Dude you don't make season changing decisions just to spite another team for not agreeing to a trade. Do you really think the Guardians are going to be heart broken that we decided to trade with another team? A move made in spite is a bad one, and that would be the only reason to go trade for Matos. .260 .316 .379, Adding those numbers to our lineup isn't going to help us out at all ... it's just a way of saying. "Ha see I dont need you". Then, since Matos will inevitably fail in Boston, the next time we try to make a trade with the Guardians they'll want even more in return.

    Roberto Clemente is looked up to by just about every single Latin baseball player the followed him. I don't believe his number should be retired around the league, as long as the he is remembered for his work on and off the field.

    Dude. NO ONE WANTED HIM. The only reason they got Peja is because the Kings have been trying to get rid of him for a few years. The Pacers should be thankful they got anything.

    ... How are the Royals on this list? The Pirates haven't had a .500 season since 1992 ... I don't think there's any question they're the worst. The Royals aren't even the 2nd worst team in baseball.

    I wouldn't trade a bag of dog s*** for Jason Michaels. He's a below average major leaguer, who gets in fights with cops. Why would anyone here want this turd on our team? I'd start a kid from A ball before I traded for Jason "I punch cops" Michaels.

    I think you guys have all gone just a little crazy. There's not a GM in this league that would even trade a used ball bag for Corey Dillon. He's 32, he's a horrible teammate(if your not winning) and he's done. The Cards would never trade Fitz. He and Denny Green have a long history together, so you can definatly count that out. Even if there was no connection ... I don't understand how any of you would think the Cards would be willing to trade away the best young WR in the game, and if he had a QB, one of the top 3 WRs in the game. Not really. Most RBs, even great ones, hit that wall at 30 years old, and steadily decline every year after that. Of course there are exceptions but Corey Dillon isn't one. He's just about cooked, and I'd say if any team is willing to take him off your hands it going to be for no more than a 4th round pick, or a #3 WR.

    I'm sorry Griffey bad in center? Yeah he's lost a step but before injury he was far and away the best CF in the game, and he was one of the best CFers last year when he was healthy.     If Aaron Rodgers can't be turned into a starting QB then the Front Office in Green Bay is in a lot of trouble. They grabbed Charlie Frye in draft last year, and I think they're going to give him a chance to start next year. He showed some potential last year in limited playing time. The Texans have David Carr, he is their franchise QB. They annonced that as the reason for drafting Reggie Bush #1. The Saints will draft Matt Leinart. The Titans will draft Vince Young. Definatly a spot where he could get a shot. Another place he could ge a shot, but Ferotte didn't play that bad this year. Another possible spot, but I think they might try to move up in the draft, because Kitna really doesn't fit the Raider style. The Texans will select Reggie Bush #1, or trade out of the pick, and someone else will draft him #1.

    Well the Wade Miller from last year was not Wade Miller. I've said this a million times and I know others have too. The last surgery he had kept him under 100% for what would have been a year, but then he got hurt again. Had he not gotten hurt again, trust me, you would have seen a much different pitcher this year. I'm all for dumping him now because he may never be Wade Miller again, and we can't wait, but lets not mistake 05 Wade Miller for a 100% Wade Miller.
