  1. The players I named can't be brought into question when people are listing players like JR Reid and Brendan Haywood as great players to come from UNC. Guess I just misunderstood you.
  2. Yeah dude like I said I'm real happy for you. Maybe you should go back to trying to convince people Wilt is better than MJ
  3. OK I'll admit I was incorrect if that makes you feel like a big man or something. I looked at the stats and simply forgot about the season he took off. I went down the list of stats without looking at the years just assuming the next year I saw was 93-94. I was wrong. Happy?
  4. First of all ... DUH. If he didn't play how could he be a leading scorer. How many titles does Pippen have without Jordan. Oh ok thanks.
  5. YOU ARE GIVING THE RECORD FROM THE 93-94 SEASON. Jordan played 93-94, but missed 94-95. 47-35 was the Bulls record the year Jordan missed ... as seen here ... http://sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c=nytimes&page=nba/teams/DIRECT093.htm BTW the next year when he came back he helped the Bulls to the best record in the history of the NBA and another Title.
  6. Well Wells isn't going to another east coast team so it's pointless to talk about it.
  7. If the Lakers make the playoff Kobe has to be MVP. I don't care if they get in as the #8. He has NOTHING around him.
  8. Jordan didn't miss 93-94 ... he missed 94-95 ... in which they finished 47-35
  9. I think this will be the year we reap the most benefits from Coco. All you have to do is look at his numbers in MLB and his age and you'll see that this is going to be his breakout year.
  10. Um how bout Grant f***ing Hill? I know he's had an injury plagued career, but he's a great player when healthy. When healthy at the begining of his career people were saying he was the next Jordan. How about Carlos Boozer? Chris Duhon? Deng? Dunleavy? Battier? Let's not pretend that Duke doesn't produce talent. Look at it this way as well. How many players go to UNC for 1, or 2 years and leave? Most of the good ones huh? Well did you ever stop to think that Coach K recruits players who will make his program better and be dedicated to it, and UNC just gets the best player. I'd rather have a Coach who recruits a team than a coach who just recruits super stars. BTW who cares who produces better NBA players? I couldn't care less if anyone from Duke was ever drafted in the NBA ... as long as we win. Please tell me that wasn't a dig at Coach K at the end there. You realize he took Duke from a nothing program to national prominance, right? You realize he coached some of the best college basketball players ever right? Enjoy Roy who clearly has no dedication to his school or players (see: Kansas). If you like coaches who pay their players to stay in school then Roy is your guy. Me? I'll take the honest guy who only gets/keeps players because of how great a coach he is.
  11. Yeah he had a number of very cheap RF wall scrappers last year.
  12. Has everyone forgotten that Pavano doesn't want to play in NY anymore?
  13. I don't know if he'll be able to make up for his horrible defense, but another 30+, 100+ season would go a long way to doing that.
  14. Oh I never said they'd be better on offense. The comment was "you're right side is as leaky as ours" which is simply not the case. Defensivly the Sox are much much better on the right side of the infield. Offensivly I think you have to give the Yankees the edge.
  15. One of BC's biggest problem last night was the entry pass. Once they got into the offense they would roll, but the first pass to get the play started was where most of BC's turnovers occured. Something I noticed during the game last night ... I went to High School with your C/F Akida Mcclain.
  16. Remember those numbers are from Coors. I strongly doubt he's going to hit .275 in Fenway. I'd rather have Trot in against lefties than Dustin. The only way I want to see him get on the field is as a defensive replacement late in a game.
  17. The main problem and the reason there were so many turn overs by BC is because Duke roped them into playing fast paced break away basketball and thats not BC's strength. In the middle of the first half BC still had a small lead until they started trying to run a fast break offense because Duke was. If BC would have just stuck to their gameplan they may have won last night. I definatly underrated BC.
  18. I don't know about that. I don't remember Rents making more than a few throwing errors. Most of his errors came on ground balls that went right through his legs.
  19. His offense is suspect but 13 errors in 500 games is fantastic. I'll take him just for his defensive ability.
  20. What about Duke didn't look great last night? I don't see how you can say Duke didn't look good ... and then say you have to give BC credit. If Duke had an off night then BC should have been able to beat them, and I'm not giving them credit for anything. How come nothing you say makes any sense?
  21. HAHAHA! I want to pee on you. Drip drip drip drip drip drip ........... I wanna pee on it.
  22. ... You sure about that one? JT Snow ... or Jason Giambi ... ya OK I think we win. Mark Loretta or Robinson Canono ... oh we win again. Loretta and JT Snow combined for 9 errors last year. Loretta with 6 and JT with 3. Giambi and Cano combined for 24 errors last year. Cano with 17 and Giambi wtih 7(in just 78 games.) Don't talk out of your ass, please.
  23. I think it's a smart move. Rents is going to have a big bounce back 06, and the Braves are litterally exploding with young talent.
  24. Yeah I don't know how anyone could see this deal and think it's real.
