    What the hell are you talking about? Please tell me you're not serious. My post in no way refers anything to Moneyball. I'm talking about power hitting teams and how they refuse to bunt/sacrifice/steal bases, but rely on clutch hitting and homeruns.

    Stealing bases is becoming a lost art not just on the Red Sox, but all around major league baseball. A lot of teams have adopted a big bashing Red Sox / Yankees type of play. The interesting part I believe is that the Yankees are actually up there inthe league in sacrifice bunts this year. Not sure about stolen bases however.

    This article is so true. They had a large segment about this on WEEI last Thursday or Friday that was just hilarious. Pink hat fans. Green hat fna.s whatever you want to clal it, they are everywhere now. And this is the reason why I am sometimes reluctant to say I love this team so much anymore. I've been pretty much a non diehard since they won, because all these newbies act like they've suffered a huge front of it. I've been a diehard Red Sox fan since I could pick up a glove. Most of these new fans don't even know who Tim Neahring, Danny Darwin, Luis Tiant or even who Troy O'Leary is. Go home, please. Stop pretending like you care. The good part of this is knowing most of these fans will go away in 2-3 years if the Sox don't win it again. Thank god. Call me an idiot. But please, let me and the Boston Red Sox lose in peace.

    You're really not making sense. Ok he's a lot more dominant at times, but you have to admitt, Beckett has been not what expected. I'm extremely diaspointed.
