    With Wakefield's back in bad shape, Beckett looking abismal and the ever so questionable 5th starter questions... Would putting Papelbon in the rotation and have Hansen close hurt the team? Would it help the team more tho? In my opinion it won't happen, but I think it might help. Your thoughts?

    They just said on WEEI that Tito said Mirabelli and Kapler would have had a pitchoff in the bullpen to pitch for the bottom of the 20th inning if the game had gone that far. Who would have won? Who do you think we would have seen in the 20th? lol

    You probably would want to contact the Red Sox organization or Fenway Park officials for that kind of information.

    I just thought I'd bring up the topic of Nixon's future. His contract is up at the end of this year? What's a ballpark estimate of how much he's worth/will be given. I have a feeling we won't sign him to justify the Arroyo/Pena trade. I really love Nixon and I hope his solid ways and softspoken ways have carried some weight in his 10 or so years here. However, I have a feeling management will do the same as they did with Nomar/Pedro/Damon etc. Thoughts?

    Move Papelbon into the rotation. But seriously, I like Pauley or Synder or even DiNardo way better than Johnson. Or just keep the 4 man rotation with occasional spot starts.That seemed to work well.

    I'm really liking this kid Lester. Any other rook gives up 2-3 runs minimum in that situation.

    You just contradicted yourself with your other point that coco crisp's numbers were too low and you have to give them time. BEfore you call someone out liek this, make sure it doesn't contradict your previous point in your callout of me. Seriously. Look what you say before you type this kind of crap again. I have no problem with Youk and loretta, i just think coco is your leadoff man, and it could be used for a try. for the love of god you seem like you are trying to roast someone for a simple suggestion. calm down and stop spreading the hate. you also need to read my threads a bit better, other than just the title.

    Eh, He had a better year last year. He hasn't been amazing this year, but he's still been solid. I'd give it to someone more deserving, theres only so many spots.

    Burrell can't touch Paps, I was at the game on Saturday and he didn't even come close to to hitting the kid. Papelbon is amazing, but I think we seem to forget that the kid isn't God. Lets see if the big hitters can send Philly home this inning and pick up Paps another win.
