  1. The Red Sox couldn't win on the road before they swept those two series. Your point?
  2. stay safe over there, man
  3. I like to observe Yankee banter on their own message boards. The kind of crap and flaming and frantic frustration one can find over there these days is absolutely hilarious and extremely entertaining. YES Network Yankee Boards Of course I wouldn't go dare troll over there. Pure pleasure viewing entertainment only.
  4. I also like the layout here with the quick replies and quick edits. I'll be sure to stick around.
  5. Oh I know what it's like. I currently talk on patriotsplanet.com (strongly recommend for any Pats fans). Probably my favorite internet forum. A lot of informed posters and a lot of colts and steelers trolls that come on looking like idiots for some good entertainment. I also post on realgm for some Celtics banter. Thought I'd find a good Red Sox place to chat about our world champs and this place looks like a good place. I'm only 19, not sure what kind of general age people are on this, but I assure you I've been an avid Sox fan my whole life and I know what I'm talking about.
  6. I would not trade him for the sake of trading him. Sure he has asked that he'd like to start if that meant playing elsewhere. But you do not give up a terrific #4 outfielder for a bunch of crap just because he wants to go. :dunno:
  7. We already have one too many starters. We do not need to address a strength while giving up minor leaguers. That is just dumb. Our bullpen should be addressed above all.
  8. I'm not a big hockey fan, but I think the Bruins might have a shot at the cup next year the way their roster is shaping up... I just like the avatar because I always thought Bellhorn looked like a hockey player and reminded me a bit of Thornton. I think he gives the Sox that Dirt Dog mentality that Varitek, Nixon and even Manny bring to the table every day.
  9. I think it's far to early to give up on Bellhorn. He is obviously our weakest link in the lineup however he adds value to the #9 spot by getting on base for the top of the order. You could (I won't)even make a case with his .343 OBP that he should be batting #2 instead of Renteria (.320 OBP). The guys in the clubhouse like him, and I still think he is yet to come around. Maybe he will get motivated after having a good day yesterday. Obviously as we learned last year as it gets late in the season he may come up with some more big hits.
  10. Our records indicate that you have not yet posted at Talksox. Why not make your first post today by saying hello to our community in our Introduce Yourself forum. Sounds like a plan. Here I am. I've been on other boards, looks like there is some quality discussion on this one. Hello all. btw hopefully you guys like my avatar.
