I thought Seanez had found something in SD the last year and a half. Turns out that the only thing he found is that Petco is the only place he can pitch in order to consistently get batters out. Think the Pads want him back for anything?

I think they should/will give him a handful of starts in Wilmington to end the year. That's pretty common practice with a prospect who is handling the levels fine. Give him a taste of what he'll be doing the next year.

You really ought to avoid using such absolute statements. For $4M I can think of a few teams that might take a flier on a guy that was decent in the NL last year. St Louis, SD, LAD, NYM are all teams that have money, are in the hunt, and could use an effective NL pitcher.
