I doubt he comes out for the 7th. He's only 22, and you know they are trying to limit his innings. He's at 95 pitches right now. Good stuff kid, hit the showers. Alex Gonzalez continues to surprise me with a bat in his hand.

Has anyone outside of Konerko - single to left - hit the ball hard tonight? I can't remember a well struck ball outside of that one. Lester has pitched really well, aside from the control, and he doesn't seem to give up a lot of scorchers. He needs to learn to trust his stuff a little more.

He's pitched well. He's also been hurt by defensive alignment. In both innings, he's not facing sacks full situations with a smart defensive alignment.

That's two straight ABs that would have been GIDPs for Thome if they hadn't shifted against him. With a runner on 1B, I think you have to set your IF up for a DP.

Another leadoff double stranded. Gomes f'd that one up by going down looking with the runner on 3rd with one out. You have to be more protective of the plate in that situation.
