    The only blackouts during the regular season are on Saturday afternoons. Fox has exclusive broadcast rights, so they only allow you to watch whatever game is on T.V. Mlb.tv and EI are blacked out in Saturdays. Although, that may not apply to you in Canada.

    I love how Yankee fans think Sheff and Matsui will just hit the ground running when they return from their injuries. Both of them injured ligaments in their wrists. It is going to take awhile for their timing, feel, and even partial power to return. The current version of Milk-O-Mania in LF, the one hitting just over two-bits, will probably provide more offensive pop than either of them when they first get back. In other news, Secretariat hits a 2-run shot to make it 2-0 in the 1st.

    Sanchez has looked OK-ish. He seems to really be missing spots, and thus far the Yankee lineup has bailed him out by chasing a little. He's got a decent 2 and 4 seam FB, but that change is silly. He should make that his bread and butter pitch.

    Mike Mussina has been pitching well today. It's really been quite a performance, some might even call it perfect. EDIT: That didn't take long. Jacobs singles as I clicked the Submit button.

    The scheduled pitcher for the Marlins in game 2 of the DH, making his MLB debut, will be Anibal Sanchez. And, just like FOX on Saturday afternoons, ESPN has exclusive broadcast rights on Sunday nights, so no T.V. outside the local market. Bud "the Dud" needs to fix this exclusivity s*** so that baseball fans who pony up the dough can watch whatever f***ing game they want to.

    I doubt they will get picks for Loretta. Tony G is the same player with more pop, and nobody wanted to give up picks for him when he was offered arbitration as a type-A last offseason.

    Here's why. Take their current rates and project them out for the rest of the season. Liriano's debut season is a very good one, excellent in fact. Papelbon's is historic.

    And that is your right. I personally believe the person on the internet has less conflict of interest. The newspaper's objective is to sell papers, and controversy is a very good method of achieving that goal. Every single one of those quotes can be taken out of context since none of them are preceded by the actual question that was asked, and every one of them are sentences (or partial sentences) of likely longer responses. The Post is one of the more sensational news publications out there. There aren't many lines they won't cross.

    I don't see Dustin's option years as being a big deal. If they bring him up this year, you are talking about them losing the ability to send him down in 2010. I really don't see that being an issue.
