stocker is right though: RJ had his ailing back problems, Moose was out for a month, Pavano enough said, Wright as well with his target painted shoulder, Chien Ming Wang was out for the majority of the season. Aaron Small and Chacon could have had career years. Both the Sox and Yanks have question marks surrounding their pitching staff. The Blue Jays so far on paper stand out as the best pitching of the AL East.
