I disagree with your first point. For one, because fighting seems to be the exact opposite of what the "Olympic spirit" is and I may be in the minority, but I think the game of hockey is just as good, if not better, without the fighting. All the fighting does to me is leave room on the roster for guys who, based on skill alone, wouldn't be good enough to play in the NHL otherwise.
But that Kessler goal was phenomenal. Considering the circumstances and the degree of difficulty, regardless of what happens in this tournament for the United States, that is one goal I will always remember!
And I think we've seen the last of Brodeur these olympics.
edit: And also, Ryan Miller become one of my favorite players last night. Truly an amazing performance by him. The way he kept the Canadians from scoring again in that late onslaught of theirs before the Kessler goal was remarkable!
