What a little bitch he is. That said, how many second year starting QB's make the Pro Bowl and throw for 4,500 yards? That offense was one dimensional with 7 RB's on the IR and he was still good. He could kick puppies on the way to the stadium and I still wouldn't want anyone else behind center. I look forward to what McDaniels can do with that offense. I was upset with Shanahan's playcalling quite a bit this year... especially in the redzone. With that said... he bitches about wanting out because he lost his QB coach, and then when they listen to offers to trade him he gets all pissy? That ain't right.

Ya know, I think it's fair value, but I think they could've gotten a fourth round pick or so extra out of it. Hell, McDaniels would've been stupid enough to give up the #12 pick if need be.

I get the feeling it was sarcasm. If not, it's as big of a 180 as we've seen on these boards, but then again, what reason does he have to slurp Matt Cassel if he's not a Patriot?

I'd have been on suicide watch if the Broncos would have traded Cutler for Cassell. Be sure I'd have taken McDaniels first, though. But yeah, the Dawkins deal is essentially two years, since that's probably all he'll want to play. I like the deal! lmao... Apparently people within the league think Cutler's plateaued and has gotten as good as he will be... he was in the Pro Bowl!

I tend to be skeptical about everything until Schefter reports it. Glad he's reported that Dawkins to Denver's a done deal. Five years is a lot... not sure it matters.

They already have the better option -- Tyler Thigpen. He played well last year in just his second season and he didn't have much of an O-Line or a dependable running game. I think it's a lateral move, and going forward, I'd rather have Thigpen and the draft picks. They have too many needs.

I love this whole Scott Pioli as the Chiefs GM thing. Gave up a 1st rounder plus another pick, if I had to guess, for a lateral move. Smart! edit: Especially with as many needs as the Chiefs have!

Well, now that Rosenfels is in Minnesota... :lol: Do the Vikings really truly honestly believe having him at QB puts them over the top? When it comes to the NFL, Adam Schefter's the man I trust most. Chris Mortenson's the man I trust least. It seems like Schefter is never wrong, so I'll take his word for it that the deal's not done. Man, I really hope this one gets done -- been a while since a Bronco's free agent signing has gotten me this excited! However... "en route to Denver" as in probably going to sign with Denver or as in he's flying out to Denver to talk to the Broncos?

Dawkins to Denver might be a bit premature, as someone close to him said it's not a done deal yet. I'm really hoping it gets done. As I mentioned earlier, he's been one of my favorite players for a few years now.

Washington Redskins. Big contracts, big expectations, mediocre results. I'm having a hard time finding a link, but word is that Dawkins joined Correll Buckhalter and signed with the Broncos. Good signing, he's lost a step or two but he's still a very good safety in this league and brings leadership to the table. One of my favorite players, too. Glad to have Weapon X in Denver!
