Lakers look good right now, but you had to expect them coming out of the gates quick. 40-23 right now, but there's no doubt in my mind the Celtics make a run and make a game of it. 22-7 edge for LA in rebounding. Yikes...

I'm not a huge soccer fan, but I do enjoy watching the World Cup. These Vuvuzela's are driving me up a f***ing wall. Trying to enjoy a game in which I don't have much of a rooting interesting is really hard to do with the constant sound of buzzing bees.

Nash is a screen door on defense. I think it's laughable when he's compared to an all-time great like Stockton.

Who is the SEC looking to add in all of this? I'd rather see Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma end up there instead of the Pac Ten, personally.

I don't think it needs to stop, though. I like the four super-conferences eventually splitting from the NCAA idea. Would lead to the end of the BCS. Not sure how that'd be a bad thing. A whole boatload of teams going to the Pac 10, reportedly. A&M, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma amongst them. I'd say look for Notre Dame to join the Big Ten -- they have to for survivals sake. This is actually pretty cool to see this all happening. By the way, how about in Conference games USC vs. Texas or Oklahoma vs. Oregon? This s***'s going to be awesome!

Where did this Ray Allen come from? And that and-one by Fisher is going to just about ice it. edit: And a dumb foul by Odom gives renewed hope... Replay sucks. Clear foul, but that ball should go to the Celtics since it's not called.
