No it does not clearly state that! It states that a timeout will be granted by an official, and will be done so when a player/coach lets the official know he wishes to take a timeout. He was not late in granting the request, he granted the request when Boeheim caught his attention with his intent to call a timeout -- by the time this all happened Syracuse was no longer in possession of the ball.

As an article on ESPN says, when a coach or player signals for a timeout means nothing, its when an official grants him the timeout and signals such. The referee did not grant the timeout until after Syracuse was no longer in possession of the ball. It was a bad call.

What can you do when your starting center is 6'6"? Didn't expect em to win, but woulda been nice to get them in the western conference finals instead of the Lakers. Hope my Nuggets keep rollin'...

I'm just saying I've never seen better, not nessecarily that he's the greatest. but I also caught Jordan at the end of his career. Rings do little for me, though.

I tend to think using team accomplishments to determine an individuals ability is pretty silly, to be honest. And I'll add that I say that having caught magic and Jordan towards the ends of their careers.

Melo = clutch I didn't like the officiating in that second half. Made it impossible for the nuggets to defend the paint but dirk forced up some bad shots and the nuggets came away with with the win.

Both teams are rolling for sure... I want to see how the cavs handle the hawks in atlanta because I know the hawks can't win on the road, so I expected the results we have seen so far. I'd love to pretend I can engage in intelligent sports banter but I just recently went 9 weeks without so much as an NCAA tourney update and my Internet use is limited to a iphone on which I get one bar of service if I'm lucky so I really don't know much that's going on in the world. I don't see how anybody can beat a team who's bench is playing like denvers is though
