Just got back from the Nuggets game and my oh my was it as bad ass. Not as special as my first playoff, given the struggles the Nuggets had suffered through for ten years, but it was still amazing.
Don't get too excited about playing the Avalanche in Round two. Sure, you owned 'em this year, but then again, so did Dallas. Besides, the Avalanche are playing much, much, much better hockey than the Red Wings, right now.
Wow, if Edmonton takes care of Detroit and Colorado takes 2 more against Dallas (I love their chances to do so), the Avalanche have a good shot to get back to the finals, it appears.
Just heard on the radio that Ashley Lelie told the Broncos that they need to either make him the teams number one reciever or trade him. Good luck getting the number one as long as Rod Smith is on the depth chart, Lelie -- gotta quit underachieving first.
In response to this, I also heard on the radio that the Denver Broncos are in talks with the San Francisco 49ers to make another trade, sending Ashley Lelie and their #15 (?) to San Francisco for the #6 pick (and possibly a few throw ins or whatever to even it out) to pick Vernon Davis.
I hope this trade goes down!
edit: Sorry, haven't seen anything online about it.
Agreed. Looked like he had it from the original angle to me, but from the outfield camera angle, it's obvious that he didn't have it. Nearly impossible call to make for the umpire as his view was completely blocked, but it still should've gone the Yankees way.
Well, in Camby's defense, he's not playing because of health. If not for a back strain, he'd be playing because the Nuggets are still jockeying for home court advantage.
We should be stricter when it comes to correcting grammatical errors -- maybe we would start a trend. Seriously, read a paper written by the average High School student. The spelling and grammar are awful -- it's even this way in my Journalism classes in college. I blame it, for the most part, on the internet.
