Glad I'm not the only one. Everytime I see that team play they seem to struggle with WCC teams. I'm certainly not convinced that they're any good.

But they lost their top 7 scorers. The guys they brought back hardly even qualify as role players on the National Championship team. Think about it: 4 freshman starters and they're a top 10 team playing an ACC schedule. That's amazing. What Bruce Pearl has done has been great, but the SEC ain't the ACC.

I'd like to have JJ over there. We lost because of a lack of shooters, last year. With all the talent, he'd get open shots and we know he can knock those down.

NBA: Toronto Raptors, way back when the Nuggets were god-awful NHL: St. Louis Blues NFL: Never been to an NFL game. Could've been the Raiders if my friends ex wasn't so stupid. "We had two extra tickets to the Broncos/Raiders game but we didn't think you'd want to go because it was snowing"... ugh. I'd have gone shirtless if I had to. -
UNC knocked off Duke on Senior Night. Hell of a game. If J.J. Redick continues to play the way he has, Duke might not have much of a chance in the tournament.

I wish the Cameron Crazies camera wasn't on ESPN U, which I don't get. Is the above the rim presentation of it going to be shown completely from that camera above the backboard?

But the uniforms were so much better when they were just white and blue. I'd love for UConn to adopt the look above permanently.

I want one of those uniforms so bad. They are absolutely gorgeous. I'd rank them right up there with UNC and pre-black Duke as some of the best in recent years.

Yep. They have a habit of storming the court early. As for Syracuse -- I think that now, unless they have a good showing in MSG, they're out of the tournament. Wonderful end to McNamara's career -- I hate that man because he blew off fans at an NCAA tourney practice here in Denver a few years back. Everyone else signed autographs, talked with fans -- he walked on by, not even acknowledging his fans. I'll add to that that PJ Tucker of Texas gained a fan for life because he talked with us for 15-20 minutes. Sorry about getting off topic.

Perhaps. I shouldn't have been so hard on him after this trade, he pulled off a gem at the deadline last year. But to save his job, and to give this team a chance to compete, I think he needed to pull off something big. As it is, we don't have a shooter, and we won't win without one. We've had countless chances to pick up a shooter, too. I'm still not crazy about bringing in a sex offender, but as long as he gives everything he can on the court, I can get over those issues with him off the court.

But you have to understand... the f***ing rankings don't come out until Monday. Therefore, when you see the name 'Duke' listed... it'll have a 1 just as UConn will have a 2, Memphis a 3, and 'Nova a 4, homie.

I hope you have experience in watching the NCAA tournament -- if not, watch it. It'll blow your mind, lol. It's the best basketball of the year at any level.

Until Monday they are. And UConn ain't #1 yet, they can still lose to Louisville.

No leapfrogging? UConn lost by 5, on the road, against the #3 team in the country AS the #1 team in the country in front of, I believe, the largest crowd to ever see a college basketball game in Pennsylvannia (so the crowd was intense, to say the least). Memphis, just the night before, knocked off lowly Tulane. UConn went from #1 down to #4, below Memphis despite a FAR more impressive resumee. That's leapfrogging. I'm not saying the difference between 1 and 4 matter right now, but you wanna talk about their rank. They SHOULD be #4, even after this week with Nova or Duke at #2 and #3 (either order works)

When Memphis plays somebody, we'll get excited. As it is, Memphis/Marshall, Memphis/Tulsa, or Memphis/Rice doesn't get me too excited. Want me to say something about Memphis? Memphis should NOT leapfrog Duke, especialyl considering Duke won the only time they played (on a neutral court). Just like Memphis should NOT have leapfrogged UConn and Villanova.

I agree one hundred percent on that issue, even when it all happens within the span of a few possessions.. I'm not going to comment much on the officiating because you know how I felt about the first game, and I didn't get to watch as much of this one as I'd have liked, but I think 'make-up calls' are something that's wrong with basketball and, on a lesser level, almost all sports. As for Doug Gotlieb's comments, I don't take them too seriously because the last poorly officiated game you see is always the 'worst officiated game ever'. I'm guilty of the same thing. That's not to say the officiating wasn't awful, though.

Any bubble team that knocks off the #1 team in the nation is all but guarenteed a birth. So FSU is in, right now. No doubt in my mind.

Considering how hard I was on the Nuggets for making this trade, I'll admit that I'm very, very happy we have Patterson now. There was an insane stretch where he showed more hustle than I've ever seen in an NBA game. Me and my roommate were in awe.

FSU won it. Game ended a little pramturely when the crowds rushed the court with 1.7 seconds left, but the game was already over at that point, as FSU has a 5 point lead.

I saw an article today that said the Redskins might have to have 20 rookies on their roster, next year. I never could've imagined anything like this happening in the NFL.
