  1. I dont understand why it matters who points it out, it's not like YES altered the video to show that Mora stepped out of the circle when he in fact didn't. Another conspiracy? And you're welcome if it makes you feel that much better. You're right, I didn't know about the rule change at the time, but how does that make it a ridiculous call when that's the rule? I think you're just unwilling to admit you're wrong.
  2. That was actually pretty funny. OK f***-stick, let's just end this for Zack's sake.
  3. Look at the replay. I don't possess the video, but I saw the replay, and it was pointed out on the YES broadcast. As for when the rule was implemented, Girardi stated that umpires went around to every camp this Spring and specifically made a point of informing everyone of that rule. But upon further review you're right because that rule was changed after the Pierzynski controversy in that series against the Angels back in '05. But still, the point still remains that Mora left the circle, touched the grass, and therefore lost his right to advance to first.
  4. It's not about what you said in this post that portrays your Yankee bias, but take a look back at your history of anti-Yankee posts and it's pretty clear. And if you try to even claim for one second that you don't have a bias towards the Yankees then you belong in that septic tank. And you're still swinging from that branch, so I think Tarzan is quite fitting.
  5. He's not gonna be a Yankee so I don't give a s***. Although Id love to see Bowden draft him and not sign him
  6. Convenient that Zacko came in and saved you on that one, huh? You're so full of s*** you're like a septic tank.
  7. Whether or not they say it, it's a Yankee thing though, and you know it. Claims like that are never made on this site about anyone who doesn't play for the Yankees, so please spare me. I mean seriously, look who we're talking about here. And given the actions of about half the other members on this board, I'm a bit surprised that you're coming down on me here. It's whatever though, enjoy that moderator authority, Zacko.
  8. Well, I'm not quite trying to flame anyone. I'm just rather sick of how dumb this site has become. Seems like since all these new rules and policies were implemented this place has just gone down the drain. Remember back the past 3-4 years (since I've posted here at least, and we go back a little while) how much fun this place was. Not so much anymore. So if you want to flex your moderator muscle be my guest, but I didn't do anything wrong. If anything I support your cause.
  9. Yeah and nobody cares about your point. I wasnt trying to be funny. I'm just sick of the ******** on this site lately, the constant back and forth. I'm tired of the cheating accusations (and the responses, don't get me wrong), and when JHB made a big stink over the Mora call last night all it did was annoy me further. Bill (and everyone else who had a problem with it), are you aware that this offseason the rules committee gathered and changed the rule regarding the runner's right to advance to first on a dropped 3rd strike? The rule previously had been the runner could go all the way back towards his dugout, but as long as he didn't go inside the dugout he still possessed the right to advance. The rule now is that once a runner leaves the dirt circle around home plate and touches the grass/turf/whatever, which Mora did last night, that he lost the right to advance to first. Now with you guys complaining about that, your implying that the umpires are no good for doing their job and following the rules, and somehow tryign to make it out as if the Yankees caught a break, when in fact all that happened was the Umpires followed the RULES. Speaking of rules, aren't they those things JHB gets so worked up over here on Talksox? Funny how when rules arent followed to a T on a message board he throws a fit and runs and hides for a week, but when they are followed in a Baseball game he still catches a temper tantrum. Bill, get some help. Kilo, again buddy, go elsewhere with your ********.
  10. Why don't you go jerk off to your 2004 and 2007 highlight videos and mind your f***ing business. Even more so than JHB, you're the biggest flamer here. Go jump off a bridge.
  11. That's what we do, we're the Evil Empire. We even have the Evil Umpires on payroll, as well as MLB officials within the commissioners office, opposing team's coaching staffs, opposing players, opposing owners, opposing team's groundskeepers and hot dog vendors, PA announcers, broadcasters, the Baseball Tonight crew, and anyone else you can think of. They're all getting a cut under the table, just ask JHB.
  12. That was my reaction haha
  13. This really just is a slap in the face. Carl needs to pitch well, otherwise he's going to be executed when he gets back from the road trip.
  14. Damn Gom, the horse is dead already.
  15. Gom, you've got issues dude
  16. I just got the PM tonight...I apologize for the delay. Looks like my spot is filled anyway, my fault. Have fun with it guys.
  17. We have a healthy Phil Hughes coming back. I'd expect something more along the lines of the Phil Hughes we saw last September, as opposed to the Hughes of April. Agreed, It's not impossible, and certainly with the level of talent on this team the idea is very plausible, but I'm so fed up and discouraged by this team, it makes me sick. But we'll see..
  18. Even though we came back tonight, I've pretty much had it with this team. s*** is so damn frustrating!!
