  1. Ok, just don't tell your cop friend after I do it.
  2. So then if he was blocking the Blue Jays form getting him, how exactly do you explain him being waived by the Blue Jays? Even more mystifying is how a team waived a player who played for another team. Gotta be a first.
  3. Is that in fact true? And if so I want to f***ing know why that trade was not made!!! But other than that, I disagree with a lot of your points on this topic, not all, but a lot. You specifically mentioned Mo, as well as the other 3. But Mo in particular, if you think about it, was almost traded to Seattle after his struggles in the bigs initially. By your thinking, we would have traded Mo. Sometimes players take TIME to show their worth. I still think Hughes will be a top of the rotation starter, but I admit I have lost all hope in Kennedy. Sometimes, it is beneficial to take your route and trade prospects for vets, but not always.
  4. f*** Tiki Barber
  5. Maybe he'll give us a hometown discount.
  6. I was surprised to hear that my hometown Hudson Valley Renegades were going to be a part of this again this year. I had tickets to go last year but got trashed the night before and slept in until about the first pitch...needless to say time didnt allow for my drunk ass to make the drive from NY to Boston. Thought about going this year, but only for a second or 2. Seems like an awesome event though. I would love to see Yankee affiliates play a game at the Stadium.
  7. Kill Ian Kennedy! Dude needs to go somewhere. He shoulda been traded before what little value he has/had is gone.
  8. Anyone see the Federer/Sharapova sex tape?
  9. If he is somehow able to start throwing before season's end, do you think at all possible he comes out of the pen just for the end of the season? I dont think it's practical to have him start and put all of that stress on his arm that goes along with those innings, but if it's safe and he can help, I think it may be worth it to throw him back into relief. Considering he doesn't need surgery, of course.
  10. I'm gonna have a fire-sale. f*** this league lol Lets hear some offers.
  11. But don't you know that any vote in your favor is the result of a conspiracy.
  12. What do I need to specifically address? I'm not uncomfortable with anything, I just think it's ridiculous how childish some of you guys are, on both sides, at this point. It's straight up jealousy because we made that trade. Immediately your boy Bill starts crying foul. You don't see me bitching and crying conspiracy because the Red Sox only wound up with Jason Bay after trading Manny Ramirez.....and Brandon Moss.....and Craig Hansen (great move Theo) when they surely deserved a better return. I'm not speculating as to under the table dealings between the Dodgers, Pirates, and Sox; why? Because I dont give a s***, it's a f***ing trade. The games still have to be played ON THE FIELD jackass. And as for your idol JHB's accusations, he still has yet to provide any evidence that the Yankees have been dealing unfairly. So until then, both of you STFU.
  13. This s*** has just gotten so out of hand. Just because a few Boston fans are disgruntled about a trade the Yankees made. Will everyone just give it a rest already, it's getting old.
  14. Get the f*** out of here, are you drunk gom? Were you out at Finnys before or something? I would love nothing more than to see Manny Ramirez leave the Red Sox. s***, I would go up to Boston and drive his ass to the airport. I won't miss him one bit. I'll be happy that he can go somewhere else, out of our division and league, and I can truly admire the fellow New Yorker's talents. Rather than having to root against a player I enjoy watching so much.
  15. We'll trade you for tickets to the last regular season game. lol
  16. haha I remember that fight. Too bad e don't have that weapon on our side anymore.
  17. I can't wait for JHB to come on and cry conspiracy. Possibly. I wouldn't be shocked if they kept Moeller. Even when Posada was healthy Joe carried 3 catchers, and he really likes Moeller. And especially now that he's aiming to have Moeller be Rasner's designated catcher. But then again, that was before the acquisition of Pudge, so who knows at this point. Good deal. You have to give something to get something, and losing Farnsworth, while it doesn't necessarily hurt the Yankees pen, it weakens it somewhat for now. It as funny too, I as standing outside the press gate after the game last night and sa Ca$h walk out not even 15 minutes after the game on his cell phone (wonder if he was talking to Dombrowski ) and then Farnsworth come out with his daughter almost immediately after. I'm looking forward to seeing Pudge in pinstripes. I'm going to the game tomorrow, so hopefully he joins the team in time for me to see him make his Yankee debut. I wonder what number he's gonna take considering his number 7 is of course retired. 70, 77? I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
  18. owned! Bill, you are unbelievable.
  19. I can't believe you guys are still beating a dead horse. Leave it alone already, are you that bitter that you lost 2 out of 3 this weekend that you have nothing better to do than cry foul over Yankee trades? Give it a rest.
