  1. See above, Huggies. ...now if you ask me this list is ********. First off, there were 104 positive tests, not 103. And 104 positive tests doesn't necessarily mean 104 players tested positive, some players may have tested positive more than once that year. And like 700 observed and noted, when you look at the list 95% of it is made up of notable players. I find it hard to believe the only guys testing positive that year were All-Stars, starters, and big money guys. No fringe names on that list definitely raises an eyebrow. And if there were any legitimacy to this list there would be breaking news alerts on ESPN right now.
  2. That was a great game. I'll always hate Carl Everett for that.
  3. Good, f*** Veras.
  4. f*** this s***...we better win tonight!
  5. LMAO There have been so many great names throughout baseball history, good thread idea. Piano Legs Hickman, Three Finger Brown......there's so many. I think the single best sounding name though is Mickey Mantle.
  6. Listening to his interview this morning and all the talk about him all day was almost saddening. I wish he would just come clean and get it over with. It sucks knowing that this man I looked up to for so many years has put himself in this situation. God damn you Roger!!!!
  7. So because YOU don't like the trade and because YOU don't THINK players on the DL should be involved in trades YOU vetoed it? Was it the league that voted against it or was it you? I can't see the rest of the league having a problem with the 2 worst teams in the league making a trade. I have a feeling this was all you. As for the dues I apologize for not sending them in, I've been so overwhelmed the past few months that I forgot. Now that you've mentioned it again I do recall discussing it with you and you have my apologies, that is wrong of me. But after this stunt I'm not sending anything until I get an honest explanation. If that's a problem delete my team. I find it odd this happens when the 2 Yankee fans in the league try and make a deal.
  8. Because he's a piece of s*** prima-dona pretty boy cheater and liar. f*** him. He's lucky he hit that Home Run today otherwise m feelings towards him would be worse.
  9. good s*** I still hate him though...
  10. Off topic, but look at this repulsive tattoo that a Red Sox fan got. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CMcHumOySTE/SgRlEBJ86MI/AAAAAAAAALs/KHsvkULWLsg/s400/soxbomb.jpg
  11. Anyone know if Vince is still alive or have the 3 DiMaggio's all died by now?
  12. RIP, Dom was a class act and of course the brother of my all-time favorite Yankee. Sad to see him go.
  13. This is ridiculous. Sure, Molina is a better DEFENSIVE catcher than Posada, but it's ridiculous to think we're a better team with Molina as our everyday catcher than we are with Posada. I'm not a big fan of him due to his PED use and affairs with girls my age, but I think with our catching situation the way it is now Paul Lo Duca might be a viable short-term replacement for Posada and Molina.
  14. Yeah but he's gpt enough of it, and let's not forget about his $20 mil option for 2010.
  15. Go jerk off to your Josh Beckett baseball cards you f***ing clown. On another note, I imagine manny isn't too disappointed, he'll likely enjoy his 50 game vacation.
  16. That would not surprise me one bit. The sex enhancers however do surprise me . Poor guy. Chances are he probably still used at one point, but what a way to get suspended I guess you still have your leverage sotk, therefore I take it the Yankee/Red Sox war is back on?
  17. When the A-Rod thing came out it was a different story. We took a beating. Now that The Manny thing has come out you want the whole Yankee/Red Sox thing to go away. You can't have your cake and eat it to damnit. Grow the f*** up. If you guys can dish it you should be able to take. Now that your leverage is "gone" you want it to go away, well it doesn't work like that.
  18. Wow. Wow. Wow. How does it feel? Exactly. Although it's nice to have this leverage, I'm very disappointed. I do really like Manny a lot and this is just terrible for him and the game. Damn. How stupid do you have to be to use today with the testing programs in place.
  19. All of that is true (except I believe they still plan on building heritage park on the site of the old Stadium when it's demolished), and it makes me irate. The Yankees and their lack of class, poor business practices, and terrible customer service disgusts me. A lot of it has to do with the employees. Not so much the front office and the team hierarchy; who we already know what they are, but a lot of the game day employees who get the positions through s***** Bronx employment agencies. To them it's just a job. They need people working there who look at it as a privilege to hold that job. They're constantly rushing people out, short tempered, and ill-mannered. Seems like the fans who pay their salaries are a burden to them. After the All Star game last year right after the game winning run scored in the bottom of the 15th the usher in the section I was sitting in started telling everyone to leave prior to the postgame festivities and MVP presentation. A bunch of us refused and he seemed angry. At the workout prior to the start of the season the ushers and security people were annoyed with everybody. At about 4 they tried making everyone leave, and even a small request to take a quick picture resulted in a short, nasty response of "hurry up," followed by a dirty look. They were all trying to parade people out because they wanted to go home and smoke crack or whatever. I heard one employee, actually a supervisor say to one of her employees "why these people still here, they need to leave already I got s*** to do" (not an exact quote but something along those lines). That type of s*** disgusts me. They way they treat people, and not just the little guys but ANY people (O'Neill, Angels broadcasters, etc.) is angrily disturbing. This used to be an organization that prided itself on class, and always claimed to have the best fans in the world. Well if that's the case then treat us like that. The gameday employees telling people the other night that the game was canceled so that less people would be around and more of them could leave work earlier is just repulsive. It makes me irate. I'm so disgusted with the way many in the Yankee organization are doing things lately, and it needs to change. Otherwise they're going to be swallowing a huge loss on that billion dollar taxpayer-funded Stadium.
  20. Dude it's a f***ing message board, not an English class. Get a life. And I'm obviously not serious (just frustrated), you're the idiot who thought I was bitching about the Fenway dimensions like I don't have eyes and s***. If anything I was complimenting the atmosphere and the fans there. No matter what it's always a game.
