They're both words, they just don't go very well together. 4-5 outs maybe, but I let either Joba or Hughes start the 8th. If Mo goes 6 outs and god forbid it doesn't work out, he won;t be very well rested for tomorrow, and that's what really counts. I can't really disagree with you though, it is Mo, I'm just saying that's what I would do.

You can only have one "we" man. The Yankees are my team, but I also root for the Mets and Cardinals. Never have I ever said "we" when referring to either of those teams. *tisk tisk*

I'm not even saying that based on his success with Licey, although it sure does help. He's always been a highly regarded coach with the Expos and Mets (I got to watch him closely with the Mets), he did well with the Dominican team in the WBC, and despite the record he was good in Washington. All the players had good things to say about him after he was fired. He didn't lose his job there because he did a bad job, he was just the scapegoat. I expect him to do very, VERY well with Cleveland. I think any Guardians fan should be thrilled with this hire.

I'm shocked to see this move considering Mac's not exactly in very good standing with the baseball world. Maybe this is a ploy to get his name back out there and return to good favor with people around the league in hopes of a HoF induction. Regardless, I'm SHOCKED.

Definitely the classiest guy on the team. One of the few Red Sox that doesn't make me sick.

It might help actually. They obviously have a good relationship. If it were to happen the Sox would certainly have to pay out the ass though. Hoyer knows the Sox system inside and out, so surely he's got a few favorites who he wouldn't mind bringing in to start his own regime with. Who knows though. I think Kim Ng should have gotten the job though.

Since nobody here really cares I'm not going to create a new thread, but the Yomiuri giants defeated the Chunichi Dragons in the Climax Series to advance to the Nippon/Japan Series vs Yu Darvish and the Nippon Ham Fighters.
