thanks for clearing that up, i was always curious about that. They should bring him back to play SS rather than treating him like a second class citizen and making him move. Move or Trade Renteria. IMO

If the Mets were able to get Delgado in a deal the last thing they would do is ship him to you guys in a 3-way...Minaya is DETERMINED to get Delgado after being burned by him in the offseason.

Cameron is without question a better player than Encarnacion. And its not like you could make a trade, Encarnacion is a free agent. So if you trade Cam away, that would be basically trading Manny for nothing. Cam has pop in his bat despite the K's, and is a gold glove outfielder...IMO Encarnacion doesnt even get to wear Cameron's jockstrap.

no game 3 thread, so ill just talk about it here. Looks like Rog', Andy, and the Astros will go up 2-1. Odd call in the 6th on Oswalts balk/walk again, timely hitting for Stros. Pretty exciting series to say the least.

Agreed. I was sad to part with Sweet (and Tim Thomas a little bit, but not as much..only because Tim seems like a cool guy and a good teammate) but a 7 foot bigman is worth it...especially with the potential of Curry (healthy)

I was going to post something similar this morning but computer froze right when I finished the post and I had to go out so I wasnt able to. Anyways, you're right, Sox fans had no problem jumping right on him as soon as they saw this. That is why integral or successful players leave so often. It is no secret that RSN has a loyalty issue. I dont see why everybody is getting worked up over this. Yea it was a little cocky, but s*** hes a f***in person, im sure you guys have said the wrong thing at some point in your life or maybe said something at the wrong time. Hes just trying to point something out so that he could possibly benefit. Lay off Johnny. MannyDoesntRun, I would be happy to take Johnny from you guys.

yes, people around here feel that the trade will more likely involve Cameron, Millege, and a pachake of other needs of the Red Sox'. and pats55sox45...you are horribly mistaken if you think the Mets would EVER move Floyd to CF...if we did trade Beltran we would just move Cammy back to Center.

Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox and their fans on a very good season. You guys played Grade A ball most of the season. Despite the injuries and other roadblocks you guys had no problem maintaining a 1st place lead most of the year. Good Luck next year (not too much). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- come on guys, take a page out of the book of SFoC and pull for our classy guys who could be leaving next year to go out with a bang in a World Series that could possibly be very interesting. Especially if its Houston. -

Im very disappointed with how this game turned out. Get 'em next time Roger (not the Braves because even if there was a game 5 you wouldnt be pitching it, but go and get the opposition next time ...ok, had to clear that up as im sure some of you would have jumped on me)
