  1. That shot of the crowd watching Young's homer was priceless. Everyone watching in it in stunned silence and once it leaves everyone put their heads down simultaneously. Epic
  2. Because we have the amazing Kevin Youkilis!
  3. Elaine was an Orioles fan. What a bitch
  4. AJ Burnett in the Yankees elimination game. LMFAO
  5. ...and this is why American industry and our economy is s*** :harhar:
  6. Then screw him. If he is in too much pain to play then he shouldn't play. I don't really care about how tough he tries to act. Yeah it's nice he wants to be a tough guy but instead of putting himself out there and playing like complete s*** just take time off and get better. He was doing nothing but hurting the team for most of the season by putting himself out there. To be honest I'm pretty sick of Youk. Seems like nothing but a hot-headed selfish loudmouth. The team certainly could use more Pedroias, but it doesn't need more Youks. He wanted to talk all that crap about Ellsbury but I'll still have more respect for Ellsbury for actually dealing with his injury and making an effort to get healed instead of trying to "tough it out" and playing abysmally for a year, dragging the team down.
  7. Exactly that. No other way to put it. a700 and iOrtiz are owning this thread
  8. I always liked the 80's ones. I wish these newer ones were a direct copy of them, with the blockish letters. The font on these doesn't look right in solid blue. And I wish they'd get rid of those awful blue away jerseys. They look like terrible spring training jerseys or some expansion team. Also bring back the old school V-neck shirts from back in the day too
  9. I just saw this video a couple minutes ago. I damn near went out and brought a f***ing Yankee jersey. Get rid of everyone in this video. Even Lester, I don't give a s***. This is one of the worst things I've ever seen.
  10. Random suggestion for manager... Mike Lowell? He seems like he'd have good leadership qualities.
  11. I wish they kept Beltre too. Watching him at 3rd last season was great, and he hit damn well too. They could of gotten rid of Youkilis and I quite honestly wouldn't of given a damn. He's always come across as a douchebag. Always seemed like a high tempered crybaby. Less people like him and Lackey on the team would benefit the sox greatly. I feel the same way about Beckett too, with his damn personal catcher and all that garbage. And I don't think Beltre is a JD Drew type of character at all. He seemed to get along fine with everyone last year. He was quiet, sure, but not everyone has to be the center of attention like Pedroia.
  12. I always thought the Sweet Caroline thing was stupid. I just would sit there during games thinking "what the hell is going on? start the inning already"
  13. It's everywhere. And I'd love to have Joe Torre. I always liked him even when he was with the Yankees. And imagine the slap in the Yankees face if he becomes out manager and leads us to like 3 WS victories.
  14. One good year in a hitter's park? With the way Ells pulls everything can you imagine him in San Fran's park? If he can come close to this year there would be countless spash hits
  15. Yeah, it's pretty official. It's on MLB's website I think.
  16. AKA "The top 50 most likely to be traded for an overpaid veteran on the decline" list
  17. Isn't all of that what was supposedly so good about Francona though?
  18. I like the Jim Rice idea. He seemed like he'd get along with everyone well, but when players f*** up he'd let them know it. Same with Eck. And Millar? Hahaha, let's have Manny Ramirez be the hitting coach and Johnny Damon the bench coach. Maybe Keith Foulke can be the pitching coach.

  20. Too late, I saved it. Emailing Boston.com right now
