Being comfortable seems like a 2nd thought when you are watching at home on TV, but in person it's different. Of course it's a great historical place but when you're paying like 50 dollars to have your knees touching the person's head in front of you and your balls start to go numb because your legs have been squished together for 3 hours and your neck is all contorted so you can see the field and 30 people have to all stand up so you can go buy a $10 beer every 15 minutes it really starts to suck. "Stay home if you wanna be comfortable" just doesn't cut it. It's 2012 basically, times change. Build a new stadium identical to Fenway but larger and with better views and just keep Fenway as a Red Sox museum.

Good posts are valued when you present them in a way that's respectful to other posters. But, as in your case, yours come off as antagonistic, egotistical, and abrasive. You seem to not be able to express your opinions without insulting other's first. If you sign up and are quickly accused of being other posters, insulted, and other things, that usually means you are pissing people off. From what I've seen this is usually a very friendly board, and the only people who get attacked are usually either trolls, idiots, or complete jerks. I'm willing to bet that your time here is numbered, and will be coming to an end soon. If I've made it this long you have no chance. Over the last day or 2, you have lowered yourself from posting legitimate posts(albeit they were inflammatory and antagonistic) to outright trolling. Posts consisting of nothing but mockery. It's childish and pathetic. (the bolded part of my quote is evidence of this) Do you act like this in your day to day life? I sure hope not. You do have good posts and ideas, but the way you present them will make people not even think twice about them. It's a shame.

I have a bias against no one. I've gotten into arguments with a few people, but they are people I don't hate or try to single out, we just sometimes have clashing opinions. I agree with all of this basically, but I like Shoppach over Varitek. His hitting isn't as important, it's his defense. Vartiek was horrible defensively and Shoppach is good. Finally someone who can throw runners out. I expect A-God to lower his average a bit but have a higher power output No way in hell Crawford pulls a 2011 again. I bet by the end of the year everyone forgets about his 2011 and loves him

The Red Sox are slowly becoming what the Yankees were for a little while: a big payroll, brand name team where instead of making actual improvements it's about bringing guys back based on some sentimentality and the ability to market the person.
