  11. good start....i was thinking off the monster but...i sort of called it
  12. Millar is going to make up for it right here
  13. NOT SCOTT CASSIDY! oh god help us haha
  14. I posted this somewhere else but incase you all want to see what the new guy can do.... vs. Chad Bradford Jeter, A-Rod, and Sheffield have combined for a (.192 BA)....I think he can get out RHB....that could be huge for those big outs in later innings.
  15. DAMNIT! I was gonna bring up Miller haha. Historically, he's an average pitcher before the break (30-27, 4.45 ERA) and an ace post-break (30-15, 3.35). Not to mention his arm is probably coming around at this time from the injury....I don't think we should start him till the 2nd inning.
  16. the record over the past 5 years with the Sox and Yanks head to head is almost .500 ....most likely it will be the same this year...these teams really beat up on each other. Even last year we were 7-1 against them in the beginning but they came back to even it up. 17-1 victory counts as 1 win. Just like the 19-8 victory meant 1 win for the Yanks. I have to admit though....it was fun piling in all those hits in the 17-1 game.
  17. Chances are the Sox would give Papelbon and Delcarman a shot before Hanson (if they give him one at all). I think the idea was to send him to Wilmington but let him move up quickly. If he excels right away he might have a shot to get up by September....I think its a long shot especially with Theo who likes to move his young guys slowly.
  18. Yeah this guy is a alot like Mike Myers. He can really go after RHB, however, he kinda sucks against LHB. We now have two situational relief pitchers for the tough outs along with Schilling and Timlin....all the bullpen needs is a 'healthy back to form' Keith Foulke and a hard throwing lefty with good movement (replacement for Embree). Here are some fun facts for the coming series.... Jeter, Sheffield, and A-Rod have a career (.192 BA) against Chad Bradford Jeter, Sheffield, and A-Rod have a career (.185 BA) against Curt Schilling .....they should help
  19. along with most of them taking a trip to the DL....don't fool yourself NY...your team is a whole bunch of pussy and we would kick the s*** out of you in a fight
  20. I'm really late with this but here it is.....and this is MY opinion 1. Jon Lester (still trying to learn about this kid) 2. Hanley Ramirez 3. Craig Hanson (when he signs) 4. Jon Papelbon 5. Dustin Pedroia 6. Anibal Sanchez 7. Manny Delcarmen 8. Brandon Moss 9. Mike Rozier (longshot) 10. Jacoby Ellsbury I also like Cla Meredith....just dont push him too fast
