    I have to admit I didn't think he'd last the season. His spring was awful, but a big guy like him seems to be pacing himself and is getting better. I believe he is the team's game 1 starter in any playoff series. Since this thread was started by a MFY fan, it should be noted that Pavano pitched last night in Tampa and didn't impress, giving up 3 runs in a FSL game.

    I really wonder what goes on in Sveum's head. Millar should have been gone on contact and scored easy. The shortstop cannot make that throw to home going to his left.

    Wells and Clement seem to match up well with Johnson and Mussina. The big question here is how well Arroyo pitches down the stretch. Last year at this time he was practically lights out. I read in Newsday that Pavano says he regrets signing with NY, which can't sit well with his team.
