    Holy s***. The Saints are up 42-17 on the Cowboys and it's not even the end of the 3rd quarter yet. They look like they're going to roll right through the NFC and into the super bowl, and I won't be surprised. This team is very scary this year. And what's more, is that they have, IMO, the best WR core in the game when everyone is healthy (I know that the Bengals and Colts say hello, but Joe Horn and the youth on this team in Colston and Henderson, and their talent boosts them over those teams) and oh yeah, a guy named Reggie Bush and a VERY deserving MVP award winner in Drew Brees. Brees could EASILY give Peyton Manning a run for his money for the title of "best quarterback in the league." The Saints are marching right into Miami this year, and what a fitting story I'm very happy for them. The city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana deserves it.

Hmmm.... haha sorry He signed Boras as his agent because while he wants to get paid well, he just has the reputation of getting his clients the best deals. It's simple. And Matsuzaka WILL get the best deal possible, but under different circumstances than normal.

    I'm not concerned just yet because Boras is going to want the largest sum of money possible. I believe the Sox and Boras will meet somewhere in the middle, but a little farther towards the 15 mill that Boras wants. I'll say around 13mill/year for 4 years and a 5th year option. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox wound up dishing out 15 million/year either, though. Boras will wait to have Mastuzaka sign until the last few hours. I'm not concerned until 12:01 in the morning after the final day of negotiations. I will be PISSED OFF if the Sox don't get this done. They owe it to their fans to bring this guy in after last year's abomination of a starting rotation. I will order Theo's head on a plate if he and the FO blow this.

    I actually think Drew is going to vastly exceed his expectations. He knows what will happen in Boston if his passion isn't there. He signed the deal, and I would think he knows what he's getting himself into.

    I'm not disappointed. Like you said, he lost pivotal games at the end of the season which blew our chances at winning the conference. He always brought us to mediocre bowl games. f***, we could do that with a 6-6 record. He was pretty successful, but not anything special, IMO. Good luck to him, wish him the best, but not sad to see him go.
