    If it's relevant it's fine. Like if he was wondering where Wilton Veras is it's ok to bump old threads and things. It's random comments on Richie Sexson and Ben Affleck which are kind of weird.

    Yeah last I heard from him he was in camp with the Brewers in 2003. No idea what's happened to him since. My best guess is he's out of baseball doing something else.

    I think he's talking about Bruce Pearl from Tennessee. The other day against Florida you could see him sweating profusely through his coat and they talked about it a lot on SportsCenter.

    From what I've been reading and what RS just posted, it looks as if the Pats are looking for a back who would be more of a 3rd down back and not a lead back. I think White will be gone by the time he gets to Baltimore at 14 and Williams may be gone before that. As far as Starks goes they had to get rid of him due to his large salary, but I've read in interviews that he was in some intense pain especially in that Denver game granted he shouldn't have even been out there but it was gutsy.

    What did you think about that last call in the Syracuse-Georgetown game YS? I thought it was correct as the buzzer clearly went off early.

    Hmm. The IP doesn't match anyone here. But I think I know what the solution is. When any user logs in to the site it automatically fills in the username blank with the title "User Name", expecting someone to replace with their actual username. It is possible that someone typed in their password and forgot to change the part where it says username and that is probably where all the confusion came in. I hope this made sense, I can screen print it and show it to you if it doesn't make a lot of sense. I guess that's what happens when you choose that specific name.

    Most of those guys are rookies and unproven players, going into the tournament I would rather have veteran experience and leadership over those players anyday. If we put out guys like that instead there would be everyone griping about how there were too many young guys and all the good vets were left at home. The US played well in all of their games except the one against Latvia, I really think those guys would make little to no difference if a few of them were on the roster.

    Maybe in 2010 not yet I still can't think of too many forwards who should have been in the Olympics over the older guys.

    Well there aren't many young US stars right now which is too bad. Who would you reccomend taking instead of Tkachuk, Weight, Guerin etc.

    I don't think your last proposal will happen especially with only 2 teams being contracted. It just means that more fringe MLBers will be out of jobs and playing in AAA where some of these guys who are playing for MLB teams belong.

    I would think there would be a draft and the players wouldn't lose their contracts or anything. Seems like the fairest way to do it.

    I remember when I was on a Fenway Park tour one of the other specifications was you had to end your career for the Sox. Now I know Fisk didn't end his career here but since he came back in some kind of front office role, they made an exception for him.

    Yeah it's way too early to figure that out now. That stuff's not figured out until a week or so before the game.

    Yeah definitely I'm not saying they'll get a medal. I just think they may have an opportunity to pull an upset since they played well against 2 very solid teams in Slovakia and Sweden. They'll probably play Finland in the quarters since it looks like they'll finish first in Pool A.
