Yeah I was pretty surprised when I heard that. Theodore has a broken heel and is due 5 mil next year. Plus the Avs have a shitload of FA's after this year which they need to re-sign if they want to be competitive next year. Aebischer's not as bad as you make him out to be. For this year I think it benefits Montreal more.

Big trade in the NHL today. Canadiens trade Jose Theodore to Colorado for David Aebischer. Also the Kings acquire Mark Parrish and Brent Sopel, while Edmonton picked up Dwyane Roloson.

Why would they let you watch that game in school. I know you live in Syracuse and s*** but it's just a 1st round game in the Big East tourney. Sure your slim hopes of a season depends on it but it's kind of weird that they'd let you watch that in school.

Lester threw 2 scoreless innings this afternoon in an exhibition game against the Australian team of the WBC. Sox won the game 3-0.

Alright: First Bruins game was against the Blackhawks I believe. First Pats game was against the Colts (when they sucked though, like Jim Harbaugh was starting QB for that game) and my first Nuggets game will be against the Celtics a week from today.

Cincinnati upsets West Virginia and BC squeaks by Virginia Tech. Illinois seems to have a comfortable lead over Michigan State at MSU with 1:28 left. It does look like BC will be a top 10 team though as Tennessee and Pitt both lost so I expect them to be number 10 heading into the ACC tourney.

But that would require the Celtics winning 5 straight games, I believe the most they have won this year is 2 in a row.

I wasn't a big fan of H&K, I bet if I watched it again I'd appreciate it more though. The opening scene in Super Troopers is a classic though. -
