  1. http://minorleaguebaseball.com/app/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050416&content_id=1220&vkey=news_milb&fext=.jsp Good performance in our system again, this guy looks like a future ace.
  2. The Sea Dogs are the only undefeated team in professional baseball, they are now 10-0. Good talent to build for the future for the Red Sox. http://minorleaguebaseball.com/app/clubs/index.jsp?cid=t546
  3. If Sheff went into the stands, there would be about 100 Red Sox fans, beating the hell out of him. That's what restrained him.
  4. I agree with Steve Kline 100 % Signed Latrell Spreewell
  5. What a pussy, read this article, and you'll lose all respect for this complete piece of s*** http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/stories.nsf/cardinals/story/AA2B1D63591A47FA86256FE20014EA12?OpenDocument
  6. Well you could argue that their could have been two men on, if not for Womack's play, and the "strike" call on Damon.
  7. 7 IP's 7 K's 3 ER
  8. Except he throws a bit harder then Alvarez
  9. I guess when Wells pitches you'll start a Papelbon chant.
  10. Pedro 9 IP's today 9 K's Clement 6 IP's 5 BB's
  11. They lost, so cancel that plan
  12. Pedoria continues spanking minor league pitching, going 3-4 with 2 RBI's So that makes him 4-7 with one walk and no strikeouts.
  13. http://minorleaguebaseball.com/app/milb/scoreboard/ I clicked on the league that each team belonged in, and they gave the box score.
  14. I expect a healthy dose of boos for David Wells.
  15. Sarasox is right, f*** Pedro, he was a great pitcher, but doesn't know when to shut his mouth. I mean Nomar didn't talk s*** when he was kicked out the door, and he was forced out a lot worse. Pedro leaves with a WS Championship, and I believe Boston's management was supportive of Pedro, even Schilling said "You can't get better when you lose a Pedro Martinez" That sounds like a compliment, Pedro, not disrespect.
  16. In Triple A, the PawSox scored 6 runs in a 7-6 loss to Indy. Kelly Shoppach went 1-5 with a solo shot, and also was fanned twice. Abe Alvarez pitched poorly, but in fairness to him, he did pitch with the wind going out. He went 4 IP pitched gave up 6 runs, and fanned 2. Double A roundup, the Sea Dogs won 7-3, with many top prospects doing a fine job. Dustin Pedoria went 3-4 scoring 2 runs and knocking in a pair. Hanley Ramirez went 1-5 with a run. And Brandon Moss added his first hit of the year going 1-3 with a double. Jon Lester got the start, and looked strong, he let up just 3 hits but two of them were homeruns, so he finshed the game with 5 IP's gave up 3 runs, and fanned 7. Cla Merdith got his 2nd save of the young year. Single A, Wilmington lost 4-2, as Red Sox prospects Mickey Hall went 1-4, with a K, and Red Sox new acquistion Ian Bladergon went 1-3 with a walk and a K. Juan Cedeno pitched 3 innings and fanned 6. Single A, Greenville, some prospects of note, Luis Soto 1-3 with a double, and Christian Lara was 0-3 with a walk. Scott Shoemaker fanned 8 batters in 5 innings.
  17. That was some shot by 'Tek, how far did that ball fly?
  18. The way Pedro was throwing, I don't think it would of mattered.
  19. Bump, it's the start of the season
  20. Pedoria opened the season going 1-3 with a walk and a single, also commited his first error of his career
  21. Wow, your nuts. Why would you trade the best closer in the history of the game? Rivera can still get the job done, just not against the Sox. A-Rod's fault? Who loaded the bases up?
  22. he's pitching, no doubt. Even if his line stunk, he'll pitch.
  23. The Sox also had 3 hits on Rivera, and it was Mariano who loaded those bases up for the Red Sox. The Sox own Rivera just get used to it, his 4 consective blown save against the Red Sox, and I believe 6 out of 7, is complete ownage.
  24. There was no lead to protect, hence not a blown save.
  25. I think that's just frustration on our part.
