    I was hoping for 7 innings from Beckett today, but the Rangers really did make him work.

    It looks like the Rangers are waiting for the fastball like the Yankees did. At least the changeup is working today but his curve is still missing. If he could make better use of his off speed stuff then he should be all set.

    Things haven’t changed much since this thread first started. He’s still the most reliable arm in the pen now that Timlin is on the DL. Sad but true, he‘s the go-to guy in the pen in high leverage situations. We know what we have in Seanez but I’m beginning to wonder if Foulke will ever return to form…

    I saw this on MLB.com and also think there’s maybe more to the story: This could be a phantom injury but regardless, if he’s that bad off then disable him. All of these injuries with the pitching staff as of late does make me wonder how effective Nipper is as well.

    I think it’s 10 days unless the recall is due to another player put on the DL. But what about JVB? He deserves another shot.
