    Yeah, sucky trade. A lot of other teams liked Hansen and Moss - like the Braves do... But whatever. The Sox will continue to have a solid if not high powered offense. The bullpen will continue to suck until the starters can regularly go 6+ innings without giving up 8 runs. If the Sox could get their starters to actually pitch well, this team is pretty solid. Should be interesting from here on out.

    Ok, let me start by saying that I never wish a player get hurt, but damn. There were two things out of tonight's game that were really awesome: There is the "easy out" with Lugo now (..). We may not see him again as a Sox unless Lowrie is like the worst SS in the league. Second, that sign they showed in the 9th for Pedroia... "Pedroia the Destroya" was perfect. That's it. That's the nickname. It's over now. Pedroia the Destroya and J-Low up the middle! That just has a ring to it . As far as losses go, I can live with this. woohoo! AND NO MORE LUGO! That has a ring to it too.

    Yeah, Delcarmen got lit up, but you have to give some credit to the Asstros. As far as losses go, at least it was entertaining.

    Yeah, that. Ponson's numbers are amazing. He's only had one good year in 10 (2003). How is this guy still around? Tim Wakefield's a stud compared to Ponson's career numbers. Really, based on name recognition alone, I thought Ponson was maybe ok - a fat gem in the rough who never conformed to the MLB standards - but the dude just sucks. The numbers don't lie, though I cant figure out how his lifetime ERA is only 4.9 with all those years of 5+ ERA.. GO YANKS!

    Dude, tell me about it. It's 95 degrees down here. It's supposed to be like that all week. I set the AC to 67 but it can only knock the house down to 75. All the plants in the back are dying and the grass is turning brown. And I was behind a guy yesterday that smelled like your grandfather's armpit. God I hate summer. GO SOX!

    Sox need a catcher - a real one. They always pick the best talent available at the time, but I think they should just grab the best available catcher first this year.

    I think for me, the fact the sox were on the left coast at 10pm and with all the celtics things happening this week, I've been distracted. Plus I got the Rambo box set on blu ray! The Sox this week have been kind of an afterthought. I wish Manny had nailed that one at Fenway, but whatever. I think the thread will heat up after the Celtics finish their season.
