    Just got done with watching it on tivo.. I actually fell off the couch when Bay flied out at the end. I was like "HOLY f***ING NO f***ING HOLY s*** f***ING WAY. GO GO GO GO GO YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAA OH, s***. f***. damn.

    well f*** this. I take it all back. I'm blacked out from the Fox game because the Braves are on locally. So f***em. losers.

    I do, but 50% of Saturday game I need to use MLB.com (if it's not the national game and not on after 7pm). Plus sometimes I use it at work. It's just the backup, but turning into a damn sweet backup.

    Yes. Today is my first day. I've been watching games over mlb.com for probably 5 years now. They just switched from Silverlight to Flash and I cannot drool enough. $100/season (or $20/month) may be a little expensive, but I'll tell you.. the audio and in particular the video is downright amazing. It's crystal clear video. I have a somewhat slow connection and there are dropped frames, but the overall quality is the best I've ever seen on the internet. Amazing really. I never thought MLB would deliver on something so hyped, but they are with this and the MLB Network. I may actually watch out of market games now since the video quality is this good. I'll post a screen cap if you want proof.

    Yep. Here's my steroid rule: If you played in the late 80s or 90s, or began your career in the 90s, you used steroids until they were banned by the league. Then you switched to HGH and whetever elite athletes use today. So I'm not surprised. I'd say Pujols, Ortiz and Howard will eventually be outed as well. I don't really judge players anymore either. I'd deny them the HOF if caught but I don't hate them for using. It's just the way it was back then.

    I have to go down as saying New Yankee Stadium, as beautiful as it is, sucks compared to the old one. This is like watching the Sox and Yanks at Camden Yards.. I liked hating the old 70's look. I liked the hugeness of it - this new place FEELS so much smaller. And the blue seems off to me. I guess I just need to let it grow on me. But there's something to really be said for nostalgia. And Fenway has it and New Yankee Stadium has nothing yet. I'm also officially on the bandwagon of save Fenway for as long as humanely possible. I would have much rather seen a renovation of the old Yankee Stadium over 10 years ( like the Sox/Fenway one ) than this plastic new car smell type place.

    Jesus, getting a weather update for this is a lot more annoying than one would expect. The Globe has nothing. None of the NY papers have anything. ESPN posters think by 9pm. Nesn saying anything??? Or are they waiting for the halftime of the Celts game to call it one way or the other?

    So I'm stuck tonight with the A's broadcast. I'm fine with that. But they keep mentioning that this is the only series in Oakland this year. So the sox have 3 west coast trips this year but only one series with the A's? Makes no sense.

    I usually hate the 10pm games on a week night (especially with a meeting the next morning) but a fresh new episode of 24 followed by the Sox game is as best a Monday night of tv as I can imagine. 2 more minutes!
