1st and 3rd , no outs, only a balk on a dropped baseball could score a run.

Gasper and Anthony are disappointing

Gasper isn't disappointing. He's given the Sox more than anyone here expected.

As for RA, never believe hype until it becomes reality.

In that AB and situation,  Mickey failed.  What you have done beforehand does not alter the need to come through Now

Disappointing is when you expect someone to accomplish something and they failed. With AR I don't expect him to accomplish something, so it's not disappointing.

Story is most disappointing.

OB mentions he has hit safely in 14 of 15 games !  But his season OPS is .618, disappointing.

Duran is equally disappointing.

OTOH,  Nate Eovaldi is a guy I still respect  for his work in the WS .

Hey, at least they hit the ball.  Something good could happen if you put it in play (the hit the Rangers got to tie the game being an example). It’s the K’s in those situations that are truly failures.

Truth is that there are very few players on this that are quality players.

3-3

Im calling it over because they are just going through the motions

Correction, Duran has been a disaster.

If someone is expecting AR to get a hit, that someone is gonna live a life of disappointment.

Only referring to that AB as disappointing.

But you are correct,  fighting the Mendoza line for a full season is disastrous .

The fact that a Talksox writer had to break Duran down and show what he needed to do tells how disastrous it

is
