Sonny got his ERA down to 2.78 and T Guerrero keeps on chugging along. The D has been strong, tonight.

Good to see Abreu heating up. Let's hope he can keep it going for longer than a couple weeks.

Duran's 2 hits brings him over .620. He was below .530 mid May and below .595 on July 20th and July 31st.

I'm gonna modify a post I made a few weeks ago. At that time I'd posted that Durbin was the best defensive 3rd baseman I'd seen on the Sox since Beltre. I've changed my mind. Durbin is the best defensive 3rd baseman I've ever seen on the Sox.

It actually was more of Duran than Mono. Hardly anyone else on the team could have scored on that shallow fly ball.

The throw from left field actually beat Duran but it was slightly off line , the WS catcher did not set up well. and Duran did the perfect t slide.

That score on the short sac fly was about where the ball was hit when he was bitching about the runner not scoring.

Maybe he thinks everyone is as fast as he is.

Cedanne looks like a hitter now. The last few years, he was just a wild swinger. Huge improvement. He is only going to get better. Sox defense is really good. Gold glovers in CF, 3B, RF. Adley is really good. Willson has been above average at first. Pitching and defense can win in October especially with a good bullpen. The Sox can shorten games. I like their chances.

Great game for Kyle Harrison tonight. 5 innings, 1 hit, no runs, 10 Ks. Good thing Durbin got hot. Trade was good for both teams which is what trades are supposed to be.
